Welcome Little Bug! This adorable marble ginger joined us on Saturday through a barn cat rescue program. He is a stray cat that will be with us for a period of a few weeks for attempted socialization. If he takes to it well, he will be available for adoption through The Humane Society of Durham Region.

Welcome Maverick! This sweet cockapoo joined us on Sunday. He needs some work with being around kids and will be available for adoption after a period of rehab 🥰

The Earth has a finite period of time to support life. No matter what, it will eventually expire, along with all life contained on it. We can and should do both at the same time; elongate that period of time that the Earth can support us/other species and work towards interplanetary existence. As an added plus, new technological developments usually spread to other unintended areas. Space exploration will very likely create/improve technologies that are beneficial to the earth.
