Roman Anthony (sprained right wrist/hand) hasn’t made any substantive progress while the Red Sox have been away, Chad Tracy said. He occasionally tries to swing a lighter bat but hasn’t gotten to a real bat/hitting progression.

@BOSSportsGordo If he took reps at the position in spring, he'd still struggle at short. Young players take time to adjust to the hardest infield position, and it's certainly not easy to slot in there midseason.

No righty swing yet (only 13 swings), but Endy looks pretty real so far. Above average swing path, great swing tilt, and the contact point has been excellent so far. Swing decisions, contact ability, and bat-to-ball have all been good as well. Definitely a player to watch!

@Brett_A_Taylor BABIP is an easy culprit, but he's realistically been challenged in zone a lot this month and then been unable to do damage on those pitches. Contact point and swing tilt over May have not been conducive to high quality contact at all

Nick Kurtz has arguably the best swing in baseball. His closest swing comp is Ohtani, except Kurtz swings around 3-4 mph faster. Quite the recipe for success
