Consider the lunacy: If you choose to receive Social Security early you take a hit on that payment. Government decides what full retirement age is FOR US and then punishes us with lesser payments if we don't agree. That age keeps increasing. They take money from us our entire lives, call it 'security', and then dictate when we are allowed to be financially 'insecure' enough to collect. 🤡 Then, adding insult to injury, if you collect before the government-determined retirement age and accept the lesser payments as punishment, but also have to keep working your job too (cuz that's so much fun), they deduct $1 from your benefit payments for every $2 you earn above the annual limit. For 2025 that limit was $23,400. I'm sorry, but WHAT?

@joekent16jan19 It happens because the government lets it happen and/or orchestrates it in the first place. It's about trying to control people with a fear based system....and it doesn't work anymore. We see right through the manipulation.

There have now been 3 assassination attempts against President Trump and multiple breeches of his security perimeter—how and why does this keep happening? Dismissing it as sheer incompetence can only explain so much. The purpose of any system is what it does. We need to be asking: what is the purpose of this system?

@kat_maryb I used to work at an Amazon warehouse, schedule was 4 days on, 3 days off, was pretty awesome.

I am still stuck on this. We need 3-day weekends. Sundays aren't true days off, especially when Monday is hanging over its shoulder like a black cloud. I'll take Mondays off, thank you very much. What about you?

@iheartmindy @pubity This would be very beneficial for someone who's homeless. I speak from experience. I couldn't buy precooked food, but you know what I could buy? Anything in the bakery...including donuts, pastries, cookies....but nothing that was actually food.

My home is paid off. My wife & I allegedly own it FREE & CLEAR. But today we got a bill for property taxes. If we don't pay it, ARMED MEN will come & take it from us & then cage me until I pay them MY MONEY. So do I own it? Am I really free? I already pay 35% income tax + easily another 15% taxes in: -Sales. -Gas & fuel. -Capital gains. -Plethora of other taxes. TAXATION IS THEFT. Property tax shouldn't exist.

@Gryph911 The TV show, The Walking Dead, is exactly how people will behave if things go sideways enough. The true threat in that zombie apocalypse isnt even the zombies, its other people who are doing anything they can to keep surviving. Never underestimate what someone will do to live.

Why do preppers tell people to not advertise what they have? Here is a little social experiment in a small scale at work. I’ve posted pictures of the jerky I make here. I always bring most of it to work and toss it in the fridge in my office so I can grab some for lunch when I am busy which is most days. People at work have seen it and asked to try it and I always have extra so I have handed some out. So now it’s common knowledge I always have food in my office. It’s amazing how many of the other managers have gone in there and grabbed a bag out of the fridge when they are stuck working late without saying something ahead of time or even asking. Now imagine your neighbors knowing you have 6 months or a year+ worth of food stored and there’s a disaster or some kind of emergency where they or their family is starving. They will expect you to share or try to take it because their family is more important than you and yours in their mind.
