We legit had an arc make an entire point of Goku being too lenient, acknowledging it, and earth and everyone dying because Goku didnt finish off Frieza.
Goku acknowledges his mistake and is thankful Whis can do it over. Goku learns what playing around too much against super dangerous villains can lead to and cost him
Yet he does the same damn thing in the Moro arc and people defend it as "his character" as if Super itself didnt already dedicate time to Goku developing and learning why he shouldn't do it.
Then they just ignore it. Thats textbook character regression

This kind of inconsistent writing is one of Supers biggest issues

He is the ONLY Saiyan treated this way during the invasion. As an Oozaru, all we see him do is watch Granolah curiously, before he sees his wife in the mother.

He was able to see the future, that's not a saiyan ability at all ✌️😭. They both failed at saving their planet because no one believed them (other than Gine in canon)

- He was sure Gohan was stronger than Cell (which he was). He trusted his son and he delivered with SS2.
- Moro isn't a saiyan so healing him meant nothing (no zenkai boost for him), Goku knew he was able to beat him easily
