@ScotRugbyNews Starting or replacement is no indication of where a prop is in the merit order. Zander is #1 by a long way. He could come on after 30 mins and play 50 mins. It’s pretty common now to have the best props finish the game instead of start.

@chris_sutton73 Clarke tells McKenna and Hendry to play like Beckenbauer… Clarke brings on Ralston (twice) when we need a goal. Clarke is part of the problem, if not the whole problem.

Steve Clarke will no doubt come in for heavy criticism but the truth against top teams Scotland are very limited. Centre backs who have always lacked real quality on the ball trying to play. Plenty of endeavour but lack of guile and creativity at the top end. It’s not on Clarke.
