This thread is more or less true, but I disagree that this is necessarily a "problem". BoCo, by design, is a supporting character, & there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
This is something that goes well beyond just him & I notice in regards to a lot of the secondary-

Ian McCue is completely on the money when he says BoCo "doesn't do anything" - this has ALWAYS been the character's central problem.
