Now that I’m in my early 40s, I have seen this type of situation play out over time. There have been more than a few instances in which the couple divorced. The man married a younger woman and immediately had children. The women my age have been left alone with bitter hearts. In all but a few cases, these women have turned to political activism and animal rescue organizations to fill the void. It’s really sad to watch.

@SouthernMB82 Stats don't bear this out. Men generally marry women only a few years younger than them. Men have a longer fertility window, yes, but in practice if they get to 40 without having kids, they won't.

My son just aged out of my health insurance. Two choices for him. Pay over $1,400 a month for COBRA or Pay over $400 a month on the Health Marketplace, which is actually the least expensive plan there. Apparently, I'm going to be paying for his cell phone forever to help him out. The system is not set up to help young adults succeed. Housing unaffordable. School is unaffordable and Healthcare unaffordable and you have the guy in the White House more concerned about gold for his ballroom and blue paint for the reflecting pool. #DemsUnited

For the last year or so, I have been drinking 2 liters of coconut water per day. However during our last grocery store bulk-buy trip, my Landlord has restricted my coconut water intake to 1 liter a day. He's buying the coconut water boxes, which is upwards of 75 dollars for a box of 12. I am dying of thirst since this has been implemented. I cannot do only 1 coconut water per day. Do you have any idea how thirsty I am, living 7500 feet above sea level, doing hot yoga twice a week, daily five-mile hikes in the scorching desert sun, sweating profusely in my organic cotton athleisure? 2 liters of coconut water per day has become my paradigm, my bare minimum for optimal health and hydration. And now the coconut water strait of hormuz has been shut down on me, depriving me. After my 1 liter of coconut water a day is consumed, typically before 1pm, after my workout of olympic weightlifting, I am dying of thirst. Ravenous for more coconut water. So I take a second tetra-pak bottle from our pantry and steal sips from it, borrowing from tomorrow's mandated 1-liter of coconut water. I need to invest in coconut water futures. I'm dying out here. I need to return to my equilibrium of 2 liters of coconut water per day. What do I do. I'm under a coconut water fascist dictatorship. I can't do this anymore.
