That's what irks me about stuff where Peter is portrayed as a teenager in the modern day or alongside new gen heroes Miles IS RIGHT THERE, yet they're out here having Peter geeking out over meeting Kamala Khan (not the worst of it) and having one his classmates being Nico Minoru

Point being we’re allowed to have a legacy Ms Marvel and Ghost Rider spotlighted from the jump. But Miles isn’t because it makes a certain amount of people insecure. Subconsciously they realize a move like this is just one step towards Miles rightfully eclipsing Peter.

@itbetk @BlackFuri0saFGC Didn't you catch my terrible sarcasm? It's not that hard to make move set around Miles's different powers to make him play differently than Peter, even with them having the same name, he'd only be a reskin if he has Peter's entire move set, combos and nothing else.

@shrapstako65050 Yet Miles is right there. That's the issue. I know every show is for a different generation, I'm just tired of Peter being in high school all the damn time when it comes to animated spidey shows. I just want that for Miles, since he can actually do something new with his lore.

@PizzaTime_535 @2Wiseau @Spider_Kaiju What I mean is that Peter shouldn't be in a high school show interacting with people who would be more suited in a Miles show like Kamala, Nico and others. He has his own cast of characters he could interact with as an adult. Leave the high school stuff for Miles.

@Windghost2099 @BlackFuri0saFGC going invisible is fun for a game like insomniac, not a fighting game. pushing him more to be venom / electricity base isn't who miles is, and the confusing part to casuals would be his name, people would think it's a reskin. he'll work as DLC.

The only thing holding SONY back from releasing better Spider-Man content is SONY themselves but more importantly Spider-Man themselves fans being obsessed with the past. Peter Parker died in over a decade ago, it's time y'all let go.

the way some people talk about miles would have you believe marvel still doesn't treat him weird, the fandom still isn't weirdly racist towards him a lot of the time and that a lot of big crossover games skip out on miles being there

There was discussion about the success of The Dakota Incident, but nothing new was announced. I did get word that if anything new happens on the Milestone front (which is entirely possible), it won’t be announced for a while. But DC has seen the movement.
