Basically, take 1/3 off the 43.8% as reported (because 67.4% of lesbians experienced IPV at the hand of other women) and you'll see that the percentage is lower than you think 😉

The study that they keep referencing by parroting other uninformed men actually states that the rates were this high because the (self-indentified) lesbians in the study experienced DV from men in past relationships. Of course this never gets mentioned.

@PipForexProfit @fem_mindset Nope, the study you're thinking of (I suggest you actually read it and cite your sources) looked at lifetime risk of violence. Women are at more risk of DV, and women in lesbian relationships haven't necessarily only dated women in the past.
