@TemmyUI Thanks for asking. Our drones do not drop packages. They hover at about 23 feet and use a tether to gently lower your order to a pre-selected spot. No QR code or scan is needed. The app provides real-time tracking so you know exactly when it arrives to retrieve it.

@Wing Cool, the aircraft drops the package without confirmation or does the buyer shows some kind of authenticity like facial scan or a qr code ultimately?

What happens if someone pulls on our delivery line? Our aircraft detects the tension and automatically releases the spool. The drone remains secure and continues its mission. It’s all part of a resilient, highly automated fleet. Safety by design. 🛡️ #WingDroneDelivery

We can fly in wind and rain, but we don't operate during heavy snow, ice, or low visibility. Our pilots closely monitor conditions to ensure we only fly when it is safe for the community.

The funniest part about the winter storm in Texas, for me, is that my local @Walmart drone delivery via @Wing has been closed since the storm started. If ever there was a legit use case for drone delivery, you'd think it would be to deliver goods while the roads are unsafe 😂
