I’ve started using the term “diagnostic odyssey” to refer to the long, winding diagnostic process. The term is from genetics research, especially for rare diseases. But a disease does not have to be statistically rare to have a long path to diagnosis. #neisvoid #meawarenesshour

I don't know who needs to read this, but I still have days where I question whether my disease is really as bad as it is and whether I'm exaggerating the severity of my symptoms. It's been 8 years since diagnosis. I'm not exaggerating.
