June 2024 was my very first time boarding an airplane and my first time being to airport. I was invited for an event in Abuja, the organizers booked my flight ticket for me. So, I arrived at Ibadan airport early in the morning, without any clue about the boarding process and what to do next. I felt like everyone was looking at me as I stood there confused, so a security officer noticed me and guided me through the checks and procedures. When I finally got into the plane and took my seat, my heart was beating fast. I was sweating serously and very nervous. When the plane started speeding on runway for takeoff, that was when panic really hit. I squeezed my eyes shut and I just grabbed the hand of the person sitting next to me. The moment the plane lifted off the ground, I couldn’t hold it, I just screamed “MO KÚ OOO!!” 😭 (I'm dead) Everybody in the plane just burst into laughter, including the children and the flight attendants that were straight face. I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. When we finally landed in Abuja and were disembarking, People were looking at me and they were laughing as we walked through the airport. I was so embarrassed, I almost enter ground.🤣😂😂

I just won 1 million naira from a friend of mine. We made a bet to put our phones in water for two minutes and take them out if nothing happened, you’d win 1 million naira. I accepted the challenge and put my iPhone 17 Pro Max in water for two minutes, and he did the same. You won’t believe it, we both took our phones out and they were still working. But after a few seconds, his phone went blank, and up till now, it’s still not working. He angrily smashed the phone on the floor. Chai, I feel so bad… but my phone is still working.

Last year, when I went to Lagos I had just finished buying food at a restaurant, and a small boy approached me to beg for money. I gave him the 100 naira that I had left with me. I saw a mad man approaching me after the boy left. He was also stretching his hand to ask for money. He was moving closer, so I walked faster, too. He got really close, and I had to run. That's how the marathon started between me and a mad man on a Sunday morning at Ikotun. Someone shouted, "Give him the food nah" and I remember saying a silent curse for whoever it was because I was too hungry to let go. People were laughing, and some were even recording me. A celeb like me that had about 2k followers on x then and 6k followers on WhatsApp. I ended up leaving the food for him, and he backed out. My precious bread and beans (ewa agoyin to be precise). He will run mad all over again.

I love scam phone calls. I pretend I’m an old Yorkshire lad, desperate to pay them. My record’s an hour. I kept putting them on hold to “check my wallet,” yelling at my cat, and asking if they could speak up because my hearing aid was acting up.
