@JosephCinque @BenRothenberg He's had this "cloud" for almost 12 months now and didn't seem to impact his performance anyway. Why not wait just a few months longer to clear everything up? Go to court and put the hearing on public nothing to hide. That shows integrity!

@WinningWay4eva @BenRothenberg What choice did he have? At the earliest even if it all went his way (which was likely) this cloud would have been over his head until at least September potentially into early next year. That’s a long time….

It’s interesting reading player reactions to the Sinner news, because it simultaneously: 1) matters what his peers think about the decision and the system, while also; 2) being clear that very few of them know what they’re talking about entirely. Both things can be true.
