@TheEXECUTlONER_ You can touch people before crossing home plate. You just can’t be assisted in reaching that base. This isn’t an out and the umpire should make sure he understands the rule book better.

This young lady hit the biggest hit of her life- an over the fence home run. As she rounds third and heads for home, the umpire calls her out as she steps on home plate. Rules are rules, but as an umpire, I wouldn’t have called her out and robbed her of that home run. You make the call…

I heard a wild story from an industrial broker about this massive double-decker logistics facility at Division right by 90/94. Basically the property was built with only Amazon in mind. Amazon knew that the developer knew that the property was built with only Amazon in mind. So Amazon sat on their hands, waited for the developer to get into distress, and came swooping in to buy a Class A+ facility right at the edge of downtown Chicago and a major highway for tens of millions of dollars less than it cost to build it. Real estate at this level is a blood sport.

Funny the Friday 1:20 start at Wrigley is this omnipresent nervana for Cubs fans. It's on t-shirts, hats, sigs etc. Fun fact, Friday games didn't start until between 2:20-3:00pm for most of their history. The tradition didn't begin until 2005. Anything else happen that year?
