LSU and Mizzou were “ranked” all year to prop up other SEC resumes with fictional “ranked wins” Now that they finished 7-6 and 8-5 and lost to Big 12 and ACC teams in their bowl games, suddenly they’re “terrible teams” who “don’t represent the SEC.” Just incredible

Every year, the top 25 teams are dominated by SEC teams, with most of the conference ranked. The 11-1 A&M’s can’t even score a touchdown vs the ACC and LSU losses to Houston in the B12. ESPN gave LSU an 80% chance of winning that game by the way. Every year.

One of the reasons this (or a variation) hasn't happened yet is because Notre Dame insists on staying independent instead of joining a conference (the Big Ten). Yet we are vilified, mocked, and continuously misrepresented for having principles and doing things our own way.

@DavidGabrielDJ YES, THATS THE POINT!!! In today’s world, you can’t just play powder puffs as an independent unless you can ACTUALLY BEAT the 1 or 2 “good” teams you play. Notre Dame didn’t do that this year. You lost to BOTH of them. Being in a conference gives you a chance to make it up.

@BQ_Sports @NFL_DF That’s assuming 2 things. 1. Bama doesn’t play more aggressively, chews more clock, and potentially scores. 2. They go for it on 4th down (which I admit is likely) and concerts. Either way, I stand by my statement that the cards were stacked against them at that point.
