5 weeks ago I got called out to a very old street dog. She had been hit by a car. She had skin diseases and her life was coming to a sad end. It’s amazing what can change in just 5 weeks… (1/5) 🧵

@AnnieAgar Yeah, NFL ass’t coaches always “step down” when things are going well. And has that kicker been traded to North Korea yet? Any NFC team in the playoffs could’ve beaten the Patriots. Even my NFC North last place Lions with all the injuries would’ve beat them.

@NiallHarbison Niall, you make me laugh every time you mention how small Dolly is. As an ex-Yorkie parent, she’s full-sized and more to me. So glad she’s off the streets.

Little Dolly Parton update. She’s been with us 72 hours. Lots of good news for her today and some little worries. She’s defo on the mend ❤️

@NiallHarbison Another one for the retirement gang, please! I can’t understand abandoning a loyal family member because they’re old!

It’s hard to believe someone would dump their old and sick dog out onto the streets to fend for themselves but that’s what I found today. A lovely kind local lady had found this tiny little dog and asked us to help after being unable to find the owner. She was tiny and shaking but it’s only when I got her in that j saw just how bad she was. She’s very old and her fur is pretty much all gone from the 1000s of ticks and fleas sucking her blood. She’s very sick and she also has a major leg trauma. Who knows how long the little girl has been out on the streets battling to stay alive. Her nature is so nice and gentle and she loves human touch. I don’t know what Dolly Parton’s back story is but I do know her future will hopefully be very bright. You can see from my hands on her head just how small she is. She’s all wrapped up after her bath and sleeping tight after a good meal and her full medical treatment will start tomorrow. Come on Dolly you got this❤️

Britney was my hardest rescue I really do believe. It took 3 years in total. To have her back and to have found Sam via her to work with us @wearehappydoggo is just the most beautiful story. Might have had a little tear watching this myself if I'm honest!

@Lions @bigsgjamo Jaymo would’ve had even more highlights if the former OC used him properly. Also, opponent’s D has to respect and cover Waymo because of his speed which takes pressure off rest of offense. Helps EVERYONE score. Hope the new OC gets this.

Unbelievably good news to share on Apollo the dog from the dramatic rescue from last week. I sit with him to tell him and also introduce some new patients at Tina's hospital. A longer watch but it gives you an insight to what goes on behind the scenes and lots of good news!

@NiallHarbison Iris was immediately so happy and trusting to everyone. A great soul!

I would love to be inside her head for just 5 minutes in her new life to see how Iris feels. Perfection ❤️

I know there’s a whole big world of bad news out there but please let me interrupt with a little check up on the dogs in the retirement village. They’ve all just been fed and with the sun coming up have found their little spots for the day. ❤️ As the birds sing they’ll snooze

I’m always hopeful for dogs but never in a million years did I think we’d see this. Look at the bounce in his step. ❤️

🚛 She was scared by a truck and fell off a bridge where she got stuck for days. Locals alerted us and we managed to save her. 😟 Bridget has been terrified for 2 months. With very poor eyesight she finds human touch very hard. She also avoided all the other dogs. She mostly spent her time alone in corners hiding. ⏰ We had to put in about 100 man hours to build her confidence back up. She had to be as brave as we were patient. 🏡 We’ve seen some signs lately she is coming out of her shell. She moved into the little play house as her own. That was a huge step for her. We also see her tail wagging. ❤️ The biggest surprise this morning was seeing her sharing the bamboo hut with Tofu. He’s the same as her with poor eyesight and a frail old body. They could have chosen anywhere else to spend the night and they normally do so away from all other dogs. But last night they let their guard down and found great comfort in each other. I can explain how proud I am of little Bridget. I look forward to seeing her get more and more relaxed and her relationship with tofu blossom ❤️

Life is the cage is all he ever knew. Hard to believe but look at him now We fund 14 organizations around Asia now and this is one of our partners called Bali Paws.

@NiallHarbison Fortunately (relatively speaking!) the wound looks as if it was on the top of the bridge of his nose, leaving his vital mouth, tongue, etc intact but certainly in grave danger from infection. Wow, so close — only a matter of a day or two before it crossed the line. Great save!

⏰ It’s been 72 hours since he came in and the comeback is already staggering… 🛻 It took about 12-15 people to catch, treat, operate on and care for this beautiful boy. I’ve never seen team work quite like it. 🎯 We had bee trying for a full week to catch him. Many many failed attempts as he was so scared. His feeder was beside herself with worry. 🐛 The maggots were eating his face and nose as well as TVT cancer and flies. He was in complete agony. He didn’t have long left. 🏥 The vet and medical team are very optimistic of how much we can save. It’s already improving and he is getting lots of special care. There was even talk of special surgeries if needed. 🥘 I didn’t expect to get close to him at all for a long time but I said I would chance it last night and today. He warmed up to me very fast. This is a very friendly boy. He was just terrified. He is also a quite young. ❤️ I called him Apollo as In Greek mythology, Apollo is celebrated as the most handsome, ideal male deity, embodying youthful beauty, strength, and perfection. That’s what I told him today he will be like one day soon when we were chatting. It would have been very easy to give up on this boy but the entire team never once did. 🥰

Retirement is looking good on these guys 💙💙 One week into life as Golden Ticket holders and Biscotti, Anthony, Birdie, Bridget, Tofu and now the newest addition, Atlas, have settled in amazingly. Soup took this picture and we think it might be going in the 'best photo of 2026' awards 😂

A 6th member added to our retirement village today. Never has a dog deserved this more. So happy for him

He was hit 3 times in his life by cars. The 3rd time was when I found him. He is terrified of small spaces like Crates so he couldn't travel anywhere to be adopted. But then today happened. ❤️
