@web3queen__ @Benedictshawn What happened to you is just clear that she's not trying to scam you. She likely doesn't know how to input ₦5100. I've worked as an agent before and I can tell you, while recruiting, many of the candidates don't know how to write down figures.

Please, if you’re doing a POS withdrawal, always cross-check the amount the cashier inputs before entering your PIN. I wanted to withdraw 5k, and I told the POS cashier to add her charges, making it ₦5,100. When she handed me the machine to enter my PIN, I noticed it was showing ₦500,100. I immediately told her, “It’s 5k I want to withdraw o,” and she replied, “Yes na, it’s 5k,” while giving me attitude. I was like, “Why did you input 500k instead of 5,100?” She started arguing with me, insisting it was 5k, then collected the machine to “correct” it. Ladies and gentlemen, when she handed it back to me the second time, thinking she had fixed it, this woman had changed it to ₦5 million instead 😭 Omo, I nearly lost it. I said, “Guy, what is going on? Please give me my card, I’m not doing again.” The guy beside her started begging me to calm down, saying she would correct it properly this time, which she eventually did. Imagine if I didn’t check the amount she entered. Worst part is, the phone I receive debit alerts on was at home because I don’t usually go out with it. That’s how I would have gotten home and started seeing debit alerts of ₦500k 😭

Can you guys please thank my dad for me? Because I genuinely do not know what I would do without this man. 👇 In February I told my dad I needed an apartment. And I was very specific. It had to be before June. And there had to be light. Not just small light. Constant light. He said okay. No problem. He would find something nice. Now you guys know how house hunting goes in Nigeria. Agent wahala. You go and see the house and it looks nothing like the pictures. I was already mentally preparing for the stress. But this man told me to calm down. He said don’t worry. I am looking for something nice for you. So he started hunting. By himself. This man was the one talking to agents. This man was the one going to see apartments on my behalf. This man was the one sending me feedback after every visit. “Mama I saw this one but I don’t think you will like it.” “Mama this one is not bad but the light situation is not good.” “Mama I am still looking.” Every single time. Until one day he called me and said. “Mama. I finally found something you are going to like.” I said are you serious? We hopped on a video call. He walked me through the apartment. Spacious. Clean. Beautiful. And then he said the words that made me want to cry. Mama they have light. Almost 22 out of 24 hours. And they do not even pay for the light separately. I was screaming. Then he told me the rent. I said Jesus. He said just pay. You will not regret it. Now my friends were telling me do not pay for an apartment you have not seen physically. Go and see it first. But I trust my dad’s judgment completely. So I sent the money. Without seeing it with my physical eyes. The next day I went to see the apartment. You guys. It was everything. EVERYTHING. Exactly what I wanted. Exactly what I had described. Exactly what I had prayed for. This man found it all by himself. And that is not even all. He arranged people to go and clean the apartment before I moved in. He arranged the driver that picked up my luggage from my old apartment. He sorted out everything. All I had to do was show up and move in like a queen. Like a whole queen. I don’t know how he does it. I don’t know how this man always comes through for me every single time. But what I know is that I have the best dad in the world. And when I say I have high standards it is because of this man right here. He set the bar. So if you are reading this please say a prayer for my dad. Or drop a thank you in the comments on his behalf. Because this apartment. This moment. This feeling. It would not have been possible without him. Daddy thank you is not even enough. But thank you. 🙏❤️

Einstein was born in Germany. When the Nazis took over, he fled to America and ended up giving the world (and the US) way more than he ever took. Maryam Mirzakhani grew up in Iran, did her undergrad at Aryamehr University (my alma mater), then came to the US and became the first woman to win the Fields Medal in math. By your logic, neither of them should’ve ever been allowed in America. Think about that.

A useful way to think about migration is to consider what kind of societies the migrants have built in their home countries and to what extent you would like those conditions replicated here.

They have called me different names for speaking the truth and calling out this religion thing. Fulani Muslim terrorists are carrying out targeted attacks on Christians, Christian villages, burning churches, killing families, and shouting jihadist slogans. Yes, Hausa Muslims are also being massacred in the Northwest. But who’s killing them? Fulani bandits and armed groups from the same networks, often for ransom and control. The perpetrators in both cases are largely the same terrorist Muslim factions. Some of your friends from that same religion have cheered these attacks and supported them. Don’t let anyone deceive you: religion is involved in this whole madness going on in the country. Religion fuels it, alongside corruption and weak security. Stop the gaslighting and call out your religious people to stop taking lives in the name of Allah!

There’s a serious Lassa fever outbreak in Nigeria right now where 146 people have been confirmed dead in 11 weeks and there have been 582 confirmed cases. 25 doctors have been infected, and 3 have lost their lives. If you are reading this, please stay safe. This virus spreads through the urine or droppings of infected rats, or human-to-human contact. It starts like an ordinary fever, but it can quickly move to bleeding, a swollen face, and shock. ALWAYS: 1. Cover your food and pots tightly. 2. Block the holes where rats enter your house. 3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap. 4. If you have a persistent fever, stop swallowing random drugs from the chemist. Go to the hospital immediately. Our health workers are at risk, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is life-saving. We cannot afford to lose more people to a preventable disease. Stay safe and retweet this to save a life today!

Guys 😭 something crazy happened tonight. Just got back from delivering a cake late, stopped at the estate gate to get pap (Eko) and buy suya from Mallam Yero. While I was waiting, I felt something cold on my leg (I was wearing slippers). I looked down… Snake. The craziest part? It paused on my leg 😭 I didn’t scream, didn’t move… I just stayed still like “please just pass in peace.” After a few seconds, it moved and disappeared. I still don’t know where that courage came from… but lowkey, the way it moved was calming. Now I’m even thinking… should I get a pet snake or I’m just mad? 😭

If someone told me in January that I will be getting an apartment before the end of Q1, I’d have doubted that person. But look at me sitting here by 6:23 AM and thinking about how possible anything and everything is if we just let God take the wheel while doing the best we can. It’s not like I didn’t have where to stay but renting a house where once you’re inside the house you become unreachable due to terrible network was a nightmare. Or should I talk about how we only saw light once a month and when it comes, it blows things in the house. I stayed in that house for just a month before leaving to go squat with a friend and the owner of the house refused to refund us. When I left there, I left with nothing but my cloths. I didn’t even have transport because my friend and I used everything we had to rent that house with the mind of starting fresh and building our lives. I didn’t even have any client then because of the bad network and light wahala. But 7 months down the line, I have gotten my own space and I am slowly bring my Pinterest inspired home to live not because I have money but because I am curating a space where I can heal from a whole lot of things. I may not be able to furnish it to my taste right now but I am grateful that I have a roof over my head. I am not squatting with anyone anymore or begging for a refund.🥹 The amazing thing is that I didn’t even have the complete amount for the total package of my new space and my friend(who wants to remain anonymous) gave me a whopping amount to add up without me even asking. Or should I talk about my boss here on X whom I have never met who also sent me money to support me. I am still shocked at the kind of support I have gotten throughout this house journey. All I want to say is that whatever you want in life, go after it even if it seems impossible to achieve. View the pictures below, can you see the vision I have for this space?🤭 I am sharing this to encourage someone today. I may not know what you’re going through but trust me when I say it gets better. Cry if you must but dust yourself and keep going. I am rooting for you!💪 See you on the greener side of the grass.

In the Old Testament, the Canaanite gods, like Moloch and Baal, required child sacrifice, innocent blood poured out to appease idols made of stone. And now, in the modern world, allah operates no differently. allah demands the blood of sons. Not in the way Abraham was tested, where God ultimately provided the sacrifice Himself, but in the way of the pagan gods, who expect their followers to slaughter without end. A Christian missionary, for example, gives his life to save others. He lays down everything for the sake of bringing hope, healing, and truth. His sacrifice is not a demand from God, it is an act of love, freely given, because God Himself first sacrificed for us. He does not take life. He does not spill innocent blood. He follows Christ, who shed His own blood so that others may live. A jihadist, however, does not give his life, he takes as many lives as possible with him. His sacrifice is not out of love but out of servitude to an idol that thirsts for death. He does not die to save others; he dies to kill in the name of his god, believing his blood and the blood of his victims will buy him paradise. This is what separates the God of the Bible from the false god of Islam. The God of the Bible stopped Abraham’s hand and declared that human blood would not be the price of righteousness. He provided the sacrifice. But allah does not stop the hand of the jihadist, he commands him to strike.

It would have been setting up my brand in Nigeria but I’m glad I didn’t make that mistake After my NYSC in 2022 I wanted to set up my handmade bag business and brand it. I already bought some industrial machines and was looking for a good space in Ibadan to set it up before my best friend opened my eyes to japa! I paused everything and started my japa journey, left Nigeria in 2023 and it’s one of the best decision I made so far ❤️🙏 I miss doing this so much and wish Nigeria encourages more of this but I can’t imagine buying fuel at #1400 to power gen to use machine to sew these bags. These are handmade from scratch to finish and both were exported to Uk when I made it in Nigeria then

I once applied for a fullstack web dev role… During the interview, the guy asked what I’d do if I was told to build something like Call of Duty. I said, “Sir??” 😭 He repeated it. I told him, “Sir, this is web development… I don’t build games, talk more of something like COD.” He goes, “But they’re all software naw.” That’s when I started explaining the difference… then I realized this man doesn’t even know what he’s saying. I just turned off my camera and went silent till he ended the call.
