I just finished an 1:1 build stream with one of the @WithWoz1 hackathon participants and today’s hackathon felt like witnessing a small renaissance.
I joined a few 1:1 build streams with participants to help with minor issues, but what I saw was far bigger than debugging code.
Many of these people had never built an application before. Yet within hours they were designing interfaces, polishing small details, and shaping ideas into real products. Some stayed up late, others woke up early just to keep building.
The quality of what they created was honestly stunning.
It kinda felt like what happened after the printing press was invented. For centuries, knowledge lived in the hands of a few. Then suddenly the barrier collapsed, and millions of voices could finally write, share, and create.
What we’re seeing now with AI feels similar.
There are countless people who have carried ideas quietly in their minds for years. Ideas that never had the tools to become real.
Now the tools exist.
And watching those ideas finally come alive, one builder at a time, feels like standing at the beginning of a new creative era.
