UPDATE: I have some wonderful news to share! H/T @pwilsondtf for for helping spread the word about Brandy, and all the Prayer Warriors that lifted her up to Heaven. Thank you so much 🤗 While in the waiting area, her Vet came out a little while ago and gave me the incredible news that my precious Brandy is still alive and kicking after the surgery. She’s in a state of recovery and is now awake. I can’t express how grateful I am for this miracle. The vet informed me that the tumor was located on her spleen and had ruptured. Fortunately, this was the best possible outcome because the spleen was the only organ that could be removed. Brandy’s recovery is progressing well, and she’s already picking up on her surroundings. I’m taking her home at 5 p.m. to continue her recovery. There’s still the pending pathology report results in a few weeks, but I’m praying that it will be negative 🙏🏻. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has shown such love, support, and prayers for Brandy and me. It means the world to us, even though we’ve never met a great deal of you. I asked God to give me a little more time with Brandy. She’s been through so much, including abuse and this, her second major surgery. I can’t imagine how much she’s been through, and I want to make sure she’s comfortable, happy, and has the best life ever while I am still blessed to have her in my life.
