Mine was catching a newborn baby with my bare hands. During my House Job, we were having one of those chaotic O&G calls where everybody was occupied with emergencies. In the middle of the chaos, this woman was already pushing almost unnoticed. Suddenly, the baby’s head was out. And there was nobody there to deliver him. Before anyone could react, the baby slipped out completely and was about to fall straight onto the concrete floor. And if that happens, he'd even pull the placenta along and only God knows what will happen. From afar, I saw it and ran. No gloves, no time to think, just pure reflex. I caught the baby seconds before disaster. Honestly, it was something I dreaded so much. Blood, liquor and everything possible touched me. I spent the entire day washing my hands reflexively while my colleagues kept laughing at me 😩 But if I could go back to that exact moment again, I’ll still do it again. Saving that baby was totally worth it.

What’s the worst exposure you’ve ever had on duty? Mine: A very sick child vomited on me while I was checking her blood pressure. It went straight into my mouth 😭 I was salivating for hours after that. What’s yours?

I went to get my hair done at a new salon and every stylist was busy except one very beautiful girl they all call ‘Oyinbo.’ The way they isolated this girl ehn… You could literally feel it. She attended to me and started my hair, and anytime she stepped out to get something, the other stylists would immediately start talking badly about her right in front of customers 😭 ‘She’s too full of herself.’ ‘She thinks she’s fine.’ ‘She doesn’t even know work.’ ‘She’s too slow.’ Meanwhile, I was just there wondering: ‘If this is what they comfortably say in front of strangers, what exactly do they say behind this girl’s back?’ Honestly, it irritated me badly because the jealousy was LOUD. Funny enough, she ended up making my hair beautifully and was actually one of the calmest people there. So before leaving, I quietly asked for her number and sent her videos of everything they were saying about her while she wasn’t around. Omo 😭 I went downstairs to buy a few things and when I was passing again… chaos. She had confronted them. Everybody was shouting. Stylists were dragging words. The entire salon was tense 😭 I just entered my car quietly because me sef suddenly started wondering if I should’ve minded my business 🤣

Thank you to everyone for their suggestions and advice. I met the woman at the junction where I alighted the second time of me going back to the road, and she showered prayers of blessings on me 🥹. She said when she also noticed and came back last night, she couldn't find me, and I also went back to the junction last night, which means we missed each other, and she already had it in mind to drop my bag at the junction where I alighted and go to the market to go and buy the stuff again. That stuff is what they want to use for a program in their church, and it's not hers either. For those shouting, "You don pour meat into a bowl," do you leave meat inside a tied nylon overnight for your house? I even boiled the meat for her and carried it with my pot to the junction because it was still hot so the meat wouldn't spoil. And she gave me money too and thanked me for being a good girl to look for her. 🤭🤭🤭

I am currently in a situation where I unintentionally carried another passenger bagco bag from the boot. When I got home to unpack, I discovered that the contents of the bag were different from mine. I placed my bag at the boot corner near my seat as I boarded the shuttle, but it appears that the driver changed the position because of space. What to do? I went back to the road in case the owner noticed and decided to come back to my junction, but I didn't see the person 🙁. The contents of the bag still have more things inside.

I don’t entirely agree with this sha, as cruel as many people can be on here, good ones still exist. When I wanted to go to culinary school, I got help from this same twitter and I’ll never forget or take that for granted. On different occasions, I’ve had people try to talk down or shame me with “no be you dem gather money for send go culinary school?”, I always answer boldly with “yes, na me”, you can’t shame me because I asked for help to better my life, I still tweet same way I’ve always tweeted and didn’t have to change anything about myself because I got crowdfunded for,you wan whyne meat man ke??….If at any point I still need help and I can’t get it done myself, I’ll still ask for help. So my point is allowing trolls get to you because you asked for help at a certain point where you were at the lows in your life is a choice. END. That being said, breakfast e pos guys??🥲🥲
