This 👇 session shares practical rules for building a stronger production culture. Here are the 7 habits Guy Nahum recommends teams adopt: 💪 #1 - Keep it better than you got it The key is consistency. Its a marathon, not a sprint. If every person on the team improves just one thing during every shift, over time it can transform the production environment and make it less intimidating. ❓#2 - Ask "Why?" repeatedly The 5 Whys method is a simple but powerful way to identify the root cause of a problem instead of only fixing the symptom. Keep asking “Why?” until you uncover the underlying cause. 🌿 #3 - Manage stress and stay calm We perform at our best when we are calm. Find a personal mantra or a simple routine that helps you manage stress and stay focused on solving the problem rather than becoming overwhelmed by it. ✍️ #4 - Perform postmortems Run a postmortem when there is meaningful learning potential and when the team can benefit from collective thinking and brainstorming. 📃 #5 - Conduct on-call handovers Knowledge sharing should not happen only during incidents. An on-call handover allows the entire team to follow up on recurring issues, identify patterns, brainstorm proactive steps, and reduce future incidents. ✅ #6 - When an issue occurs, roll back first Immediately rolling back recent changes is often the fastest way to rule out a software change as the cause. Stabilize the system first, then investigate the root cause. 🧠 #7 - Look for ways to use AI to win in production AI enables us to ship more code, faster, which also increases the complexity of our production environments. That means we must actively explore how AI can help us operate, investigate, and improve production responsibly. Watch Guy's full talk here 👇

Super interesting conversation with @Avishai_ab and @HarryStebbings on @20vcFund today. Harry doesn't hold back on the hard questions, and Avishai doesn't shy away from his answers. They covered a lot of ground. Worth checking out the full conversation. youtu.be/TdQyVXN0GF8

Most agentic AI projects in 2026 are already on track to fail. Deloitte reports only ~11% of organizations have agents in actual production. Gartner warns that ~40% of agentic initiatives will likely fail by 2027, mostly because companies are wrapping shiny new agents around broken, outdated processes instead of redesigning how work actually gets done. Automating dysfunction at machine speed doesn’t create transformation. It just creates expensive, fast-moving dysfunction. The real differentiator won’t be who deploys the most agents. It’ll be who has the discipline to rebuild the operating system first. Wix is already moving in this direction with its xEngineer change, shifting toward becoming a truly AI-native company by redesigning engineering processes and platforms rather than bolting AI onto the old model. We have created a website to tell the story of transforming a company to an AI native company. xengineer.ai #AINative #wix #xEngineer

What can a classic #TDD book 📙 teach us about building software with AI? Growing Object-Oriented Software, Guided by Tests by @sf105 and @natpryce was written long before coding agents became part of everyday development - but its core ideas may be more relevant than ever. The real challenge with AI-written software is not generating code. It’s knowing whether the code reflects the right intent, handles the right edge cases, and can evolve without weakening the system around it. In this great session by Mantas Indrašius, you'll explore how TDD can become a practical feedback mechanism for AI-assisted development: helping coding agents verify their changes, expose wrong assumptions, iterate toward correctness, and produce more maintainable systems. Prompt engineering is officially 🚩 dead. If you're still just tweaking prompts, you're falling behind. Your AI reads your repo, but doesn't know why your service exists. It lacks your team's tribal knowledge, and traditional CI can't handle the volume. On July 20th, we will break down how AI-first teams actually ship today: 🧠 Context-Driven Development : Giving AI the missing context from Slack and lunch talks. ⚙️ Next-Gen CI: Redesigned validation for when agents generate more code than humans. Headless Day build #7 🏍️ @asaz built a platform for Israeli motorcyclists who are tired of oversized, reckless group rides. The idea: a rider posts a trip with a route and date. Others apply with a profile. The creator hand-picks who joins. After the ride, both sides rate each other. Over time you build a reputation, and the rides stay small and good. Early draft, already live. …ith-9460adef-asaz63.wix-site-host.com #HeadlessDay #BuildInPublic #WixHeadless

Headless Day build #6 🛒 Ram Bercovitch built a services marketplace. Browse experts, book a session, pay, done. The whole flow runs on Wix Headless. Bookings, payments, the catalog, all wired up through a custom frontend. No templates. Just the APIs and a clear idea of how the experience should feel. …hea-548968d8-ramb74.wix-site-host.com #HeadlessDay #BuildInPublic #WixHeadless

Built this today: apex-drive.co 🏎️ @flushdia A fictional supercar driving experience. Pick a car, pick a circuit, book a time. Real bookings, real checkout. Everything works. Empty repo to finished site. Just me and an AI agent on Wix Headless. Few hours. Why? We're running Headless Day at Wix today and I wanted proof, not slides. If the guy running the team ships one, nobody has an excuse 🙂 I'm a car guy so the name had to mean something. The apex is where the racing line clips the corner. Fastest way through isn't more power, it's the right line. Black on black, one red accent, nothing that doesn't earn its place. Even the loader is a car lapping a circuit. #HeadlessDay #BuildInPublic #WixHeadless

Today is #Headless Day at @Wix! 🚀 The day was kicked off by @IShmool, setting the tone for a company-wide building sprint. Across Wix, teams are taking this unique day to build real Wix Headless sites - with one big goal: 1,000 awesome sites in a single day. Why? Wix Headless opens a different way to build on Wix: fully custom frontends powered by Wix’s business infrastructure - eCommerce, bookings, payments, events, and more - all through APIs. But it’s more 🚩 than building sites. Every project created today becomes part of a public GitHub repo, helping developers and AI agents discover real examples of how to build with Wix APIs. 1,000 sites. One day. Let’s build! 🏁

Your AI can read the repo. But it still 🚩 doesn’t know why the service exists, what your PM wants, or what your team decided six months ago. That’s the real gap. Not bigger models. Not better prompts. Better context. Join Or Rozenzweig’s talk (July 20) to learn how AGENTS md, Skills, and CDD can help AI agents work with your team - not just your code. wix.engineering/beyond-the-pro…

We are taking some of the most powerful technological capabilities and putting them in the hands of the people that need them. We have hundreds of millions of users and we have a product story that once you see it demonstrated concretely is genuinely hard to replicate. Not because of any single feature, but because of the accumulated depth of understanding that sits behind every feature, understanding of users, of businesses, and of what it actually takes to succeed online. @nirzo wrote about what this means for small businesses in the AI era. Your AI writes code ⚡ faster than ever. So why is shipping still the 🚩 hardest part? Because AI doesn't fail at writing code. It fails at understanding context and proving it's correct. At our next meetup we'll tackle the two biggest engineering challenges of AI-first development: 🧠 How do you give AI the context your team has - but your repository doesn't? ⚙️ How do you redesign CI - when AI agents generate more code than humans ever could? Expect practical patterns and ideas you can apply to your own engineering team the next day! Join us here: wix.engineering/beyond-the-pro…
