Today we take time to remember our great friend George McArthur, on the 8th Anniversary of his passing, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, "Always marching by our sides on the West Bank of Londonderry" .

Congratulations to our member Clark and his partner Natalie on the birth of their baby boy yesterday , great news for the family. We hope mummy and baby are doing well. Congratulations also to our member Hugh on becoming a Granda.

Today the band will once again be leading the No Surender ABOD for the annual Shutting of the gates celebrations in the city on Saturday, we wish everyone visiting Londonderry a safe and enjoyable day

Honouring Bobby Stott, 50 years gone but never forgotten. Murdered in 1975, aged 22. We wear our uniform with pride in his memory. — Trevor Mitchell

Today we unveiled the memorial to our dear friend and former band member Bobby Stott, who was murdered by the IRA in 1975. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all who donated. Your support means so much to the band, the Stott family, and our community.

On Sunday 23rd November at 2pm, The band will join family, friends & the community for the unveiling of a commemoration to fellow member Bobby Stott, murdered in 1975 by the IRA. All are welcome at the top Fountain carpark, near the former Stott family home.

At the 11th hour on this 11th day of the 11th month. We will give 2 minutes of silence to remember those who gave their all. The time in 1918 when the guns finally fell silent along the Western Front. We will remember them.

The William King Memorial Flute Band had the great honour of leading the Waterside Royal British Legion to the cenotaph this morning. We will remember them. 🌺

Join us this Remembrance Sunday at 11am at the War Memorial, Londonderry, as we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served. They gave everything for the freedoms we hold dear.
