Good turnout at St John's Oxford for @RevAlanRace 's lecture drawing on themes in "Unutterable Joy", our anthology of WCF writings. Religions learning from each other and addressing the world's problems together was a main theme. Thanks to @ImamMonawar for helping to organise.

WCF express deep sadness at the passing of Queen Elizabeth, whose reign was shaped by her personal faith. HM the King has committed to be the Defender of Faiths, we now look forward to an era of ever-deepening solidarity between people of different backgrounds. God Save the King.

Good morning from Tonfanau on the mid-Wales coast. We're here to interview local people who remember the resettlement camp for Ugandan Asian refugees in 1972, and a former resident of the camp. We're also training two young people on how to capture oral history. Watch this space

We at the World Congress of Faiths pay tribute to Dr Natubhai Shah MBE, who passed away this week. He was a great advocate for the Jain community and for good interfaith relationships.

Warm congratulations to WCF Executive Committee member, the Revd Bonnie Evans-Hills, for receiving the Hubert Walter Award for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation from Archbishop Justin. Bonnie is so passionate about building a better world together; it's richly deserved!

We're so sad at the passing of one of our Patrons, Archbishop Desmond Tutu. His determined faith, especially his elevating of the concept of forgiveness into the public realm, mark him out as one of the giants of interfaith cooperation. Read our Chair's tribute on our website.
