We need to break the stigma around health conditions that affect women in the workplace. My constituent @sanjuthinks was unlawfully sacked because of her endometriosis. With only 11% of employers having a menstrual health policy, discrimination against women with endometriosis is widespread. It’s time to put gynaecological conditions into the disability guidance of the Equality Act.

I am deeply concerned by the continued attacks on health care across the conflict-affected areas of the Middle East. WHO has already verified attacks on health care in Israel (2), Iran (18) and Lebanon (28), with further deadly incidents reported over the weekend. In times of war, health facilities are lifelines - places of safety, care and hope. Attacks on hospitals and health care workers are unacceptable and constitute a violation of international humanitarian law. Very concerning incident at Manchester Central Mosque last night. Thanks to the vigilance of volunteers and the swift response of police, a more serious situation was avoided. Islamophobia and hatred has no place in society. Everyone must be able to worship in peace and safety.

I wrote to @Nigel_Farage last week after local Reform activists attempted to hijack a local meeting I was organising for retired mineworkers. They said they wanted to ‘build the gallows, hang them high’. I have not received a response.
