@umaposting URA has higher base training stat gains, so unless you have to complete the trophy in trackblazer for some reason, you will gain more speed during debut trainings in URA than trackblazer.

Let me explain exactly why every new subdivision in America looks like the top photo, because the math is wild. A mature tree increases a home's value by 7 to 19 percent. On a $400,000 house, that's $28,000 to $76,000. A single shade tree produces the cooling equivalent of ten room-size air conditioners running 20 hours a day. One tree on the west side of a house cuts energy bills by 12 percent within 15 years. The bottom photo is worth more, costs less to live in, and sells faster. This has been documented by the University of Washington, Clemson, Michigan State, and the USDA. The data is not in dispute. Removing those trees saves the builder roughly $5,000 per lot. Concrete trucks need twice the dripline radius of every standing tree. Utility trenches need flat ground. A bulldozer flattens 200 lots in an afternoon. Preserving trees adds weeks and thousands per home. So the developer pockets $5,000 in savings and the buyer eats $50,000 in lost value for the next two decades. The person making the decision and the person paying for it have never been in the same room. The Woodlands, Texas is the proof of what happens when they are. George Mitchell bought 28,000 acres of Houston timberland in 1974 and preserved 28% as permanent green space. He forced McDonald's to build behind the tree canopy. That McDonald's became one of the highest-volume locations in Texas. The first office building, designed to reflect the surrounding forest so you couldn't see it from the street, leased completely. The Woodlands median home price today: $615,000. Katy, a comparable Houston suburb that clear-cut: $375,000. Named #1 community to live in America two years running. Fifty years of data. The trees are worth more than removing them saves. Developers clear-cut anyway because they sell the house once and leave. You live in it for 30 years.

@Lunatic__Fringe @aakashgupta The most structurally sound home is a dumpster outside of a McDonalds. Compact, fully metal, maintained by a corporation at no cost to you. Why don't you live there?

@aakashgupta Trees around a house is bad idea. Root displacement of the foundation, roots growing into seer lines. Leaves and needles blocking drainage lines, trees falling on the house, constant cleanup of leaves/needles. No thanks.

@Merrydawg No Lucius. They mean there's no unnecessary fillers. Oda has been wanting to crunch down the series more, so it's more about the story and less on filler content. OP has a lot of filler stuff (which im fine with but this was previously discussed)

Ugh. Seriously? I was excited about the One Piece remake, but this just ruined that. Why do they always have to change things? Why can't they just follow what the original work does? How is One Piece gonna be One Piece without the stretching? How do they expect that to work? How's Luffy even going to fight people if he can't use his devil fruit power?

@cracked9369 @cissiayearner Well, yeah, she's the same character wearing a different outfit. She's not like Evernight or DHIL, where they're practically different people. Only real comparison point is Fugue, but she was being upgraded from 4* to 5*, so of course her design changed a lot.

In an epic meltdown, a fan crashes out at Hololive VTuber Nerissa Ravencroft after she mentions a Holostar during a livestream. "Nearly a year ago, during a membership stream, you came to us Jailbirds to explain that you would never collab with or namedrop any Holostar, male vtuber or male content creator in your stream. And now you randomly drop a Holostar name." "Holostars are a blight to everything that falls under Cover. I often even wonder why Cover keeps them around, but that is besides the point. You made a promise that you wouldn't do such things and that you wouldn't change." He also lashed out at Nerissa for listening to outside voices, asking: "Why do you keep listening to all those beggars that want to see you fail, fall into obscurity and become trash like Nijisanji, what used to be Vshojo or Phase???" This isn't the first time the fan known as Myron has crashed out over Nerissa. Last year, he melted down on her for "not working hard enough" and failing to hype her own concert, despite the fact that she had been away from home for six months with limited access to a PC.

@joeblow87423561 I suppose you could make the argument that it doesn't matter because my digital clone shared my identity up until the point of uploading and would feel that it has experienced a continuous consciousness. But the consciousness that I am now can not be moved into a computer.

@joeblow87423561 Do you mean we would simultaneously experience the physical and digital worlds? No, we would be separate consciousnesses. But the digital one, despite sharing my identity, does not have the same continuous consciousness that I experience right now.

@joeblow87423561 @SydSteyerhart I'm talking about my own continuous consciousness, not personal identity. I, the consciousness that experiences the world every day, will never experience the inside of a computer, only a copy would. Unless you're implying that I would consciously experience both simultaneously.

@WoahGoTime @SydSteyerhart You don't know that. In the future, there are two entities that owe their existence and their structure back to you now. You're saying only the physical one will be you, but you have no evidence to back that up. We can trace the information pattern from BOTH back to you now.

@joeblow87423561 @SydSteyerhart I don't believe that the continuity of self is maintained by anything beyond my brain. But even if it did, it breaks down. You don't have to die to make the copy. Once the simulated version is awoken or you do anything post-upload, your experiences diverge.

@WoahGoTime @SydSteyerhart Another question: how accurate must the copy be? Do you need the quantum fields to infinite precision, or at the other extreme how about just roughly approximated neocortical column input-output simulation and connection? What if it's more like 70% you? I'm ok with that.

@WoahGoTime @SydSteyerhart It depends on metaphysics we don't know. But if my view is correct, and identity is about being an information pattern causally connected across time, riding on whatever computational substrate can support that pattern, then yes, they are both you. But which will you wake as?

@WoahGoTime @SydSteyerhart The idea of the original "data" is irrelevant. Information is about patterns, and information transmission is about causally connected transfer of patterns from one place to another. I am an info pattern. Every causally connected future instance of that pattern is a future me.

@joeblow87423561 @SydSteyerhart The original "data" on the brain doesn't move, it's copied. A physical person will never experience life as a digital being. In the "brain in a vat" scenario, the original person has been reduced to an unfeeling brain, while a digital clone believes themselves to be the original.

@WoahGoTime @SydSteyerhart Yes, the original transforming information contained in the physical brain has moved from the physical space to the digital space. Uploading never meant the physical brain gets put physically inside a computer. That doesn't even make sense. That's more like brain in a vat.

@joeblow87423561 @SydSteyerhart Uploading often implies that the original is moving into a digital space. They're emphasizing that the original, physical brain hasn't gone anywhere, they've just created a digital clone.
