@umaposting URA has higher base training stat gains, so unless you have to complete the trophy in trackblazer for some reason, you will gain more speed during debut trainings in URA than trackblazer.

@aakashgupta Trees around a house is bad idea. Root displacement of the foundation, roots growing into seer lines. Leaves and needles blocking drainage lines, trees falling on the house, constant cleanup of leaves/needles. No thanks.

Ugh. Seriously? I was excited about the One Piece remake, but this just ruined that. Why do they always have to change things? Why can't they just follow what the original work does? How is One Piece gonna be One Piece without the stretching? How do they expect that to work? How's Luffy even going to fight people if he can't use his devil fruit power?

@cracked9369 @cissiayearner Well, yeah, she's the same character wearing a different outfit. She's not like Evernight or DHIL, where they're practically different people. Only real comparison point is Fugue, but she was being upgraded from 4* to 5*, so of course her design changed a lot.

@joeblow87423561 Do you mean we would simultaneously experience the physical and digital worlds? No, we would be separate consciousnesses. But the digital one, despite sharing my identity, does not have the same continuous consciousness that I experience right now.

The brain of the fruit fly wasn't uploaded, it was copied. An important distinction, best explained in SOMA, the 2015 sci-fi horror game. 'Copied' is much more horrifying.

I, the consciousness that experiences the world every day, will never experience the inside of a computer, only a copy would. Unless you're implying that I would consciously experience both simultaneously.

You're saying only the physical one will be you, but you have no evidence to back that up. We can trace the information pattern from BOTH back to you now.

But if my view is correct, and identity is about being an information pattern causally connected across time, riding on whatever computational substrate can support that pattern, then yes, they are both you. But which will you wake as?

Information is about patterns, and information transmission is about causally connected transfer of patterns from one place to another. I am an info pattern. Every causally connected future instance of that pattern is a future me.

In the "brain in a vat" scenario, the original person has been reduced to an unfeeling brain, while a digital clone believes themselves to be the original.

Uploading never meant the physical brain gets put physically inside a computer. That doesn't even make sense. That's more like brain in a vat.
