I think Call of Duty is going through a difficult phase where what's considered great by their core audience is considered a miss by everyone else. That and MWII To MWII then BO6 to BO7 are just objectively bad ways to ship a product. BO7 is a great COD game. But it's unappealing to everyone else.

It was a solid fps game but as a CoD game, it was absolutely terrible No red ping on map, ghost working constantly, horrible map design, no weapon balancing, etc

@WobblyJeli @Bamslol mw19 quite literally revived cod same with the integration of warzone. after infinite warfare, ww2 and bo4/blackout cod was in the dumpster. if it wasn’t for mw19 bringing back the og community. literally nobody cared abt cod, it was all fortnite and 2k during those times

Cold War was the best Call of Duty out of these and no one can tell me otherwise

@Its_Uranium @Bamslol MW19 didn’t revive cod, it just got lucky that everyone was stuck indoors. MW19 was losing mass amounts of players up until both WZ and lockdown happened, which is when we were all forced to stay indoors with nothing else to do. The “og community” came back for the name but-

@Its_Uranium @_Skaya_ @Bamslol Nowhere did I say that maps before MW19 were great but we still had a ton of solid maps. With the arrival of MW19, and up until now, great maps are few and far between. There are far more subpar maps now than there were in the games prior to MW19 and that’s just a fact 🤷‍♂️

@Its_Uranium @Bamslol MW19 was a terrible cod game, one of the worst ever, and is the reason as to why we have so many horrible things in cod nowadays. The series was already starting to die but MW19 was the final nail in the coffin.
