He initiated a fight he couldn’t finish. He allegedly conspired with Wike to hand over Labour Party votes to Tinubu during the last election. Don’t start what you can’t finish. He was the same person shouting “on your mandate” with so much energy, and now all his loyalists have been disqualified while people still claim he has the President’s backing. As it stands, he either abandons that primary and moves to another party with his supporters to fight for his reelection, or he remains in APC and risks losing the ticket during the primary election. Do you really think Tinubu and Nyesom Wike don’t know exactly what they’re doing? Wike practically has Rivers people in his pocket politically. If Amaechi brings out a very strong candidate, you’ll see many Fubara supporters abandon him to his fate. The election is just 8 months away. Let’s watch and see.
