Punjabi Sikh emigration was largely towards Canada earlier but has since branched out to other countries like Italy + Australia as well. 🇮🇹🪯🇮🇳 Punjabis make up ~70% of the Indian diaspora in Italy (2/3 Indians there being Sikhs) If you have consumed parmesan cheese (parmigiano reggiano), it's highly likely it was made by a Punjabi Sikh worker. There are probably more Sikhs living in Italy than even Jammu today. Here's a Punjabi family where an old woman is teaching her son's Italian girlfriend how to cook Indian food, he then takes her to a gurudwara.
