LeBron James last night fell to the ground writhing in pain, replay showed that he hit nothing of significance despite him grabbing both arms, and screaming as if he’d been hit by a car. He then exits the game. Lakers go on a run, as they show a trainer working on his left arm. They cut the lead to 1, and LeBron suddenly gets worried that the Lakers look better without him, so he stops faking to reenter the game with a couple minutes left. Lakers momentum is instantly zapped, and the team doesn’t score another basket until there’s 7 seconds left in the game. After the game he said that he “hit his funny bone”. @DefiantStapler Those situations always suck & are always a heavy burden on the mind... but they can expose who really is a friend & has your back as well. Sometimes the quiet victories are the ones most easily lived with down the road.. Sucks to have to weigh and navigate through that though

RIP to my favorite Presidents Day fun fact. John Tyler, our 10th president, had a grandson alive until last May. John had a son while in his 60s. That son had a kid while in his 70s. And that kid, Harrison Tyler, passed away last year at age 96. So… New fun fact: John was born during Washington administration. So 3 generations of Tylers span EVERY PRESIDENCY IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

@jli33 @NFL And value is subjective, that's why there's debates around MVP on both who it is & how it's measured You lean toward the creating of the chance &, for this game, I weight converting drives into points. If Myers had missed once or twice then Walker is a clear cut winner.

@Wolfvs_ @NFL Ok. Myers played in 7 plays. K9 was involved in 10 times more. Carrying, catching, blocking being a decoy via play action. It’s most valuable player. Not guy who scored the most points. That’s why he’s the MVP and Myers is not.

Kenneth Walker had a great game overall but the MVP should have gone to Jason Myers 5 for 5 FG, 2 for 2 PAs 17 total points Scored the first 12 points of the game & responsible for all of the points through 3 quarters @NFL you missed on that one.. unlike Myers 🤷‍♂️ #SuperBowlMVP

@jli33 @NFL Is setting up of the opportunity or the completion of the drive more important? Can't have the former w/out the latter but w/out the kick you have a failed drive. Splitting hairs to a degree but with how the game went I put more weight on Myers' ability to complete the drives 🤷‍♂️

@Wolfvs_ @NFL No. A kicker can only kick. Make or miss. Can’t alter the game beyond that. RB can just run for 2-3 yards but he came out making plays, had a TD called back. He’s the MVP. His impact was more valuable. His spark let to points. IMO, obviously.

@jli33 @NFL That same logic can be said of the running back position though .. "an RBs 'job' is to run the ball" I'm not diminishing Walker, I'm crediting Myers for picking up the offense's shortcomings for 3+ quarters and giving them a 12-0 lead before Barner scored their only offensive TD

@Wolfvs_ @NFL No, no no. The kicker did his job. No more, no less. K9 not only did his job he went above and beyond for the offense. Kickers unfortunately cannot impact a game like other players. They can just do their job...he's not MVP.
