I don’t often post about my personal life. Last night I was so grateful that I made it back in time from Swansea to say goodbye to my Dad. 40 years ago you adopted me & I’m so happy you did. Thank you dad, I love you and I will miss you so much. RIP dad 💔😢

@FortheR93378109 Jack was a proud member of Wolverhampton RA, our president Alex Hamil was a close friend of Jack as they officiated together in the Football League.

Jack Taylor (1930-2012) at West Ham-Man Utd in 1972. A butcher from Wolverhampton, more than 40 years after his retirement he is probably the best-remembered English referee of his era. FL linesman 1955-1958, referee 1958-1977; FIFA List 1962-1977. Refereed many major Finals...
