@lord_jonhb @WolvesRube21 @fork_king I agree but i don’t think you giving ayo enough credit off the bounce. He’s not ant obviously but he can get to his middy
English

I need to hear why he shouldn’t just be the full time starter next to ant
StatMuse@statmuse
Ayo Dosunmu since Ant has been out: 19.7 PPG 8.0 RPG 5.3 APG 2.3 3PM 49/47/89% Tied with Randle for the most PTS + REB + AST for the Wolves in that stretch
English

@lord_jonhb @fork_king @gWizard_5 Every good team? Okay so who's the 2nd ball handler for OKC? How about the Spurs? Pistons? Knicks? Nuggets? Suns? Just kinda talking outta yo ass here
English

@WolvesRube21 @fork_king @gWizard_5 It’s about creation and ball handling. Every good team has two ball handlers, we have one and it puts a huge strain on Ant
Ayo and Donte can’t create their own shots
English

@fork_king @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 We 100% were targeting Donte. Connelly has talked about this. Hes who we wanted in the KAT trade all along. We would have taken other players along with him other than Randle, but not the other way around
English

@WolvesRube21 @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 i don't think they were "targeting" donte but he is a good volume shooter and impact player
English

@fork_king @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 Ayo is going to play 30mpg ROS. Donte is one of the more unique players in the league. Hes the biggest try hard ever diving on the court, tipping balls, but also an elite 3 point shooter. I think Ayo is a better player, but we targeted Donte for 2 years as an ideal fit to Ant
English

@WolvesRube21 @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 I think he and donte are similar enough in what they provide the difference is just that donte has more size so he's better on the d end (but bones does have his wingspan); anyway the end of all this is that ant and ayo need to share the court more regardless of who starts
English

@fork_king @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 I love Bones. Hes brought a ton to the team lately. But hes a microwave scorer with a chip on his shoulder more than a complete player like Ayo or Donte. This is crucial off the bench
English

@WolvesRube21 @lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 well bones also takes pressure off ant because he's able to apply rim pressure and create his own shot, at least from memory (that second OKC game for example) that backcourt worked out well
English

@cesar5alad @gWizard_5 Donte is even less of a PG than Ayo. Which is exactly why he needs to start with Ant. Its about balance. Anderson helps this equation a bit but hes not the same as 2 years ago when he last played for us. Ayo is playing 28 minutes/game & rising. Who starts the game is unimportant
English

@lord_jonhb @gWizard_5 @fork_king Bones with Ant makes zero sense. He wouldn't get half the shots and thats his strength. There is a reason they infrequently share the floor together
English

@gWizard_5 @fork_king Bones is a real ball handler and that’s why he should start with Ant. Ayo’s creation is still mid
English

@gWizard_5 Because we need an elite catch & shoot 3 point shooter next to Ant...thats Donte. 2nd team gives him more opportunities to handle the ball & to more shots. Dont confuse the starting lineup w being the 5 best players on the team. Naz has been coming off the bench his whole career
English

@MattSwens @trigg_sellers @JRodFanClub @TSJMuse @iawolves Ps. Donte was a -14 last night on 31% shooting with 16 shots. He lost us the game and even missed the layup to tie it up. But we still know hes one of the guys we rely on for this team, right?
English

@MattSwens @trigg_sellers @JRodFanClub @TSJMuse @iawolves Oh wow. He had a bad game! The game before he led the team with a +29. Hes having a hard season with constant injuries but is still a good player
English

@couldbepatrick I mean they don't even remotely play the same position. You do realize that?
English

@tlschwerz @nacholeber JJ to Rams or 49ers so we can see his true potential?
English

I believe there will be a true QB competition. So as of right now I would guess the depth chart would be:
Wentz
Murray
McCarthy
May the best man win
Tom Pelissero@TomPelissero
Veteran QB Carson Wentz is re-signing with the Vikings, sources tell The Insiders. So Minnesota’s QB room now features three former top-10 picks: Kyler Murray, J.J. McCarthy and Wentz, who played well last season before a shoulder injury.
English

@nacholeber Cmon Ben. You dont actually think this. Wentz is only playing if Murray gets hurt and we trade JJ or he just shows zero improvement
English

@KellanAdonis @blaccbeckham Exactly. And he can barely shoot better than Giannis. That is 100% his issue
English

@blaccbeckham @WolvesRube21 You both could be write in this situation. He played terribly in this system cause he was pretty much asked to be Mike Conley. But in the little bit he was just able to be Rob Dillingham he looked fine. But small guards have a cap if they can’t shoot like Steph and Trae
English

The Rob Dillingham experience was the single reason I stopped supporting almost all of Wolves media.
They are reactionary and don’t know ball and speak to/for ppl who also don’t know ball.
A year and a half benched because you don’t play perfect was idiotic.

Rob Dillingham 17 Points, 4 Rebs full highlight vs Cavaliers | 25-26 NBA Season
English

@BucketsnBeyond @blaccbeckham No one is going out of their way to bash Rob. Its in response to these guys blaming it all on Finch when a 5th grader who balls could tell Rob wasnt giving us what we needed. I was happy for him (& Lenny) to go somewhere they could play & think the Bulls also did well in the deal
English

@WolvesRube21 @blaccbeckham So why the continued negativity from Wolves fans on Rob? To me it’d be the same as hating on Joan if he was forced to play sooner than expected and played poorly. A rookie guard wasn’t going to be ready to play winning basketball. Have to play through the minutes or trade him.
English

@xkoyee_ @blaccbeckham That's like a point less than Naz.. that's really good off the bench. Regardless PP is a shooter and Dillingam can't shoot at all. Not a good comparison
English

@benjaminteal88 @blaccbeckham Rob has handles like Kyrie?! You literally can't make this stuff up! Wtf have you been watching?
English

@blaccbeckham @WolvesRube21 I agree. Rob has Kyrie like handles, and is only 21.
English

@blaccbeckham @xkoyee_ Pritchard was 6th man of the year last year you retards. Dillingham couldn't even start dor his college team and I'm the dumb one! PP the most retarded comparison of all time 🤣
English

@xkoyee_ @WolvesRube21 Being from MN one tho go know is MM ppl love white hoopers at all levels. I’m crying cause you caught on too late. I been stoped responding.
They hate when I call em out
English

@benjaminteal88 @blaccbeckham Higher ceiling thab Bones...maybe. But completely different players. Bones is a shot maker, dynamic bench scorer. No one knows what Rob does well, up to this point youd have to say nothing
English

@WolvesRube21 @blaccbeckham I bet you are wrong on Rob never being a solid PG in the league. Rob is 21 years old and never got real opportunity. He has much high ceiling than Bones Hyland. Ant being a ball dominant PG is a problem.
English

@BucketsnBeyond @blaccbeckham 100% agree. I think the Bulls did very well in this trade. Rob is young & the Bulls suck enough to let him play. Lenny as well. Plus the picks. For a guy who was leaving anyways. Wolves getting Ayo was huge. Connelly is a risk taker. He shot his shot but no one makes them all
English

@WolvesRube21 @blaccbeckham Is it possible that it just wasn’t a good fit for the timberwolves? And that the trade can be beneficial for both sides? Tim NEVER should have made the trade up for him. Especially if Finch won’t play him and the team can’t spare minutes for him.
English
