„This finding has obvious implications for policies in the sphere of criminal justice, for example in the placement of transwomen in women’s prisons.” Die Studie ist methodisch sauber: Bayesianisches Poisson-Modell, Datenverifikation über Gerichtsakten und BBC-Archiv. Reine Crossdresser wurden ausgeschlossen.

Women o' Scotland

So let us get this straight. A Labour candidate writes to voters, saying “as a father of daughters unlike the SNP and Green candidates,” he supports women’s rights to single-sex spaces and that men shouldn’t be in women’s prisons - and that’s branded “divisive nonsense” and a “misogynistic attack.” But placing violent men in women’s prisons isn’t? Right. Words in a letter are the problem - not the policy being questioned. For reference, the letter said: “As a father of daughters unlike the SNP and Green candidates, I am also unequivocal in supporting women’s rights to single sex spaces. This includes saying loudly and clearly that biological males should not be in women-only prisons and spaces.” thenational.scot/news/26067338.…

Very Important Message!! Do NOT, and I repeat do not buy plants treated with Neonicotinoids. Bees take the pollen back to the hive and feed it to the brood. This is a number one cause of the colony collapse. It's important to NOT buy these plants! Make sure to share this post!

The Liberal Democrats believe Britain’s diversity is its strength. And yet, one of their candidates was hounded out for being a Christian, against all the laws they claim to love. They fought the claims for four years before conceding they were true. Will Ed Davey apologise?

Award-winning journalist David Campanale was de-selected as a Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate because of his Christian beliefs. After a four-year legal battle, the Lib Dems have admitted multiple breaches of the Equality Act. @GBNEWS

This is a poll on Cambridge student voter intention, ran by the head of the Cam Uni Labour Club. I cannot overstate how much this worries me. Cambridge students are painfully out of touch with national feeling. Green is leading by a total landslide: the party that has single-handedly the worst policies on trans and immigration imaginable. When I was cancelled (for owning 3 gender-critical books!), I was astounded at the number of people who said things along the lines of: “Why are you choosing to die on this hill when the majority of people disagree with you!?” and, even more annoyingly, “Look at all the intelligent people around you who disagree! “. It is very rare for an academic here to speak their mind of this subject, so many students automatically assume their beliefs. This isn’t helped by the pride progress flag adorned on every hall. Or the ‘gender expression’ funds, offered by many a JCR, providing money for Stand to Pee devices, breast forms and binders. It is propaganda. They have no idea that the vast majority of the British public do indeed know what a woman is. But I don’t blame them! School taught my cohort gender ideology as fact- a few boys in my class were chastised for saying they didn’t buy it. And public institutions keep up the falsehood - have you been to an NHS waiting room in the last ten years? It is no wonder. But a huge worry. Very soon these students will graduate. they will take up positions in law, in science; as teachers, politicians etc. Some will change their minds on things, i’m sure. But it is naive to assume this is the typical leftist fad young people go through, and even more naive to think we won’t feel the lash.

Grateful to Times columnist Giles Coren for putting to the sword a local council pipsqueak for trying to put out of business a restaurant in the middle of nowhere where owner Ruth Hanson does all the kitchen prep herself, the washing up, the bookings, the till, payroll and then cooks it. The restaurant is called Hansom in Bedale, North Yorkshire. To give you an idea of its remoteness it’s 7 miles from Northallerton and 31 miles from York. So, on occasions, her husband Mark, who had a job of his own, gives up his evenings to chauffeur some guests to and from their homes. Coren points out when he reviewed the place last year ( he gave it a glowing recommendation) he had to hitchhike from Northallerton station. No Bedale train, no metro, no Uber hanging around at the corner. Enter Chris Doyle, licensing enforcement officer for N Yorkshire council, who has written to Ruth saying in his view Mark was operating a taxi service and that would require a raft of expensive and time consuming licences. Ruth responded that Mark was her husband, he was unpaid and there was no separate charge for the journey. Doyle said he didn’t care as there was deemed to be a commercial benefit and warned without a licence the council may take legal action. Coren has a great last paragraph; “ Yeah, you sue her, you absolute local heroes. “ You teach Ruth and Mark a lesson for being great at their jobs, for treasuring their customers, for trying to create a little joy and make ends meet in a collapsing world.” PS Thought you’d like to see what a Ruth menus looks like. This is called the Sunday Sharing Feast. Starters. Smoked Leek and Pickled Croque Monsieur Whitby Crab Crumpet Pickled cucumber, Garden herbs. Heritage beetroot, whipped goat’s Curd, Wild Garlic emulsion. Main Course Wensleydale chicken, Apricot and sage Wellington. Honey and mustard mash, buttered spring , cider sauce. Dessert Yorkshire rhubarb and ginger trifle. Cost; £55. With publicity thanks to Coren’s column and this tweet I suspect the queue will be out the door and Mark can have his evenings off again.

🇫🇷 A 12-year-old girl in France woke up covered in blood after being gang raped by two adult men in an Airbnb. A judge just released them without a restraining order, without supervised contact restrictions... nothing. At the hearing, the child collapsed in her lawyer's office upon hearing the men were to be set free. It is getting very tiring reading so many stories like this, where horrible people face zero consequences. SICK! Source: @zerohedge

A very inebriated man just sat down next to me at the train station and said: “Alright, gorgeous.” I didn’t like the look of him, so I got up and moved. “Couldn’t get away quick enough, could you love?” he shouted after me, laughing. Then he stood up. For a moment I thought he was going to follow me. He didn’t - but as he staggered off in the other direction, he hollered across the station: “She needs to be f**ked up the arse, that one.” This is the reality women are navigating - every day, often without saying a word about it. And yet we’re told that if a man puts on a dress and calls himself Susan, any discomfort we feel about sharing intimate spaces makes us the problem.

The Woman Who Broke the Barrier Nobody Noticed. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister ran a mile in under four minutes. The world lost its mind. Twenty-three days later, a 21-year-old chemistry student named Diane Leather ran a mile in 4:59.6 at the Midland Championships in Birmingham, he first woman ever to break five minutes. The world barely looked up from its newspaper. Leather had only started running two years earlier, inspired by watching the 1952 Olympics on television. She joined the Birchfield Harriers in Birmingham, trained under coach Doris Nelson Neal, and within months became the national cross-country champion. By 1954, she was rewriting what was considered physically possible for women over distance, a feat medical experts of the era openly doubted could be done safely. She didn't stop at one barrier. Leather broke her own record five times, lowering it to 4:45 by the end of 1955, a mark that stood for seven years. But here's the thing: the IAAF refused to officially recognize the women's mile as an event until 1967. Her times were classified as "world bests," not world records. The Olympics didn't even include a women's 1500m until 1972. Leather retired from running at 27, married, moved to Cornwall, and spent decades working in social care. It took until 2013, nearly sixty years, for her to be inducted into the England Athletics Hall of Fame. She died in 2018 at age 85. Bannister got a knighthood. Leather got a footnote. History has a way of losing things in plain sight.
