We're giving you a look at some of the responses from each of the main parties. We'll then give you the chance to compare them before deciding who gets your vote. 1/

The women of Wales will be deeply affected by next week's results. If Plaid wins, Welsh Labour and Green MSs will back them. If Reform wins, the same MSs on the Left will work together to block Reform. Two things I'm grateful for: @WRNWales and @SpeechUnion. #DemocracyIsDead

So the winner is a man who wrote that if trans-identified men dominated women's sport, it not only wouldn't matter, it would actually be empowering for young people watching. Everyone who voted for him should be ashamed.

Whether it's a @Plaid_Cymru, @WelshLabour or any other party -led government; we're happy to talk. We won't wheesht! Forcing through policies with little public support is never a good look. Wasting public money on services proven to be damaging or futile is beyond negligent.

Jewish people in our country are under constant attack. This is no longer a growing pattern. There is an epidemic of violence against Jewish people. It is now a national emergency and needs to be treated as such by the Government and public authorities.

There is much that is troubling in Mrs Justice Lieven's judgment in favour of the University of Sussex, but this stands out. The judge suggests that if someone objects to a 'gender critical feminist lecture' it might be reasonable for the university to demand that the lecture should be read in advance by 'the university'. So lecturers who believe that sex is real should have their lectures vetted by administrators if someone complains in advance of the lecture. This type of incentive is exactly what activists thrive on. And it suggests a regime which strips academics of all autonomy and acadmic freedom. judiciary.uk/judgments/the-…

The presence of a male lecturer with grotesque fake boobs at Oxford University is the embodiment of queer theory - which is taught at universities and enthusiastically followed by all “LGBTQ+” organizations. The scorn for social norms and determination to dismantle all social boundaries lies at the heart of queer theory. Here is David Halperin - a keen and seminal promoter of queer theory and author of “Saint Foucault” (1995) explaining the difference between “gay” and “queer” - and the aim of “queer” devotees to subvert all social norms. It is a highly destructive project. “Unlike gay identity, which, though deliberately proclaimed in an act of affirmation, is nonetheless rooted in the positive fact of homosexual object-choice, queer identity need not be grounded in any positive truth or in any stable reality. As the very word implies, ‘queer’ does not name some natural kind or refer to some determinate object; it acquires its meaning from its oppositional relation to the norm. Queer is by definition whatever is at odds with the normal, the legitimate, the dominant. There is nothing in particular to which it necessarily refers. It is an identity without an essence. ‘Queer,’ then, demarcates not a positivity but a positionality vis-à-vis the normative.” We badly need to rid academia - and society - of this destructive theory and the accompanying mindset - scornful of all boundaries - that it has planted in the LGBTQ+ movement.

If you're shocked by today's stabbing terror attack on British Jews, you must have been living under a rock for the past few years. Not a single one of the men who drove through North London in 2021 shouting “F*** the Jews, f*** their daughters, f*** their mothers, rape their daughters and free Palestine" were prosecuted. Despite a woeful response rate from @Plaid_Cymru, (and some pretty silly reasons for not answering), there are a couple of very encouraging answers from candidates not afraid to back rights for women and girls. These included @DafyddTrystan, and Malcolm Davies. 2/

FIFA has finally permitted the Afghan national women’s team to play in official competitions without the approval of the terrorist Taliban government. This decision is welcome although long overdue. Afghan women need to have ALL their rights restored. theguardian.com/football/2026/…

We know that many women applied to join the audiences of every televised candidate and leaders' debate, pre-submitting questions challenging panel members to state their position on issues affecting women in Wales. The same occurred at numerous hustings across Wales. Frustratingly, not a single one of these questions was selected by programme producers or hustings organisers. Like you, we find this deeply disappointing and a significant oversight, given the Welsh Government's historically poor record on complying with the law.
