@TriciaWhitaker No sideline reporter is worth a six figure annual paycheck. None. To think Erin Andrews & Charissa Thompson who admitted she made stuff up make how many times more a typical primary care physician? What Chrissy Snow was to Jiggle TV in the 70s on Three’s Company is to today.

THIS…this is why good sideline reporters matter. The raw, unscripted, in-the-moment emotion. It’s the stuff you simply cannot recreate 10 minutes later at a podium. It’s the emotion we all want to see and hear. And it is my absolute favorite part of my job in MLB. Seeing the athlete react directly after a walk-off…that’s the good stuff. And it’s not easy to do well…Shoutout to @TheAndyKatz—one of the best there is. 👏 (and people like @LaurenShehadi and @ALaForce who do this at an elite level, too)

@EJXD2 @Jackpotkimm @barshoelife Who in racing is soliciting gift cards in denominations of no more than $20 like the airports on behalf of TSA agents because they are having to wait in line for hours to walk through the magnetometers? Are the lines really as long as at the Spa?

Sir Nick Faldo
Sir Nick Faldo@Sir_NickFaldo·
It is now just 17 days until the start of the 90th Masters Tournament at Augusta National. Sir Nick Faldo has been a significant presence at the tournament since his first invitation to compete in 1979. He has played, won three green jackets, and served as a television broadcaster and analyst, showcasing his deep investment and passion for the game and the Masters tournament. His journey began through the screen of his childhood television, watching Jack Nicklaus play. Young Nick then asked his parents for golf lessons and went on to play his first round on his 14th birthday, and the rest is history. Presenting the Commemorative Portrait of Sir Nick Faldo, 2026 — in celebration of his Masters victories, marking 30 years since his 1996 triumph, and honoring his return to health. — Chad B. & Co. The open jacket and shortened television tie in the portrait are intentional. They reflect Nick’s continuing contribution to the game as a golf analyst at The Masters Tournament. In broadcast, when seated in the chair, his jacket naturally rests open, and the tie is worn slightly shorter so it falls neatly rather than lying in the chair. The three buttons at the cuff are also a quiet nod to history — a subtle reference to his three Masters victories. It is a small but meaningful detail, reflecting not only the champion he was, but the voice and presence he continues to be. Clarification: This commemorative portrait was privately commissioned as an independent tribute. Augusta National Golf Club had no involvement in its creation, and any suggestion to the contrary would be incorrect.

@frank_seravalli @1980MiracleTeam @HockeyHallFame Mark Johnson is a national treasure. A model for youths who play hockey to aspire to be a team player and for anyone else be it a brother of a player, a father, a hockey mom, a girl who dreams of being Knight, Johnson is a model citizen. We need more people to be like him.

@Elex_Michaelson @flyLAXairport I once had a TSA agent tell me I needed to open a laptop bag and have it go through the scanner outside of then bag. Some don’t even know wha t is allowed and what isn’t. Biggest problem in air travel is people who could never open the emergency exit door sitting in that row.

TSA wait times are VASTLY different depending on the airport. At some places, like @flyLAXairport, it’s only a few minutes in recent days with the very same funding challenges as other cities. Why are some airports handling it so much better? What can be learned from them?

@ByMHarrington That was atrocious coaching by Self. Burning those fouls in the backcourt, but could’ve used one of those on SJU offensive rotation. Like blowing the opponent up on a pick.

@FOS NIL has proven one thing. Head coaches are overpaid. And the ones who do reap the highest salaries are way overpaid.

@TriciaWhitaker His comments were ridiculous. Joke or no joke. Chalk this clown show with the Laura Rutledge one when the Chargers QB wanted to celebrate with his team and she was grabbing him by his arm for a meaningless question. Just leave the players and coaches until the post game lockers.

Exactly. We’ve built a culture where people wake up looking for something to be outraged about just to turn it into a headline or hot take. Then we get 15 podcasts breaking down a joke like it’s a federal case, acting like they’ve never made a mistake or heard sarcasm. It’s a cycle: outrage > content > more outrage. And then we wonder why athletes and coaches don’t want to do interviews. Maybe because the internet has a problem with everything everyone says and then wants to yell at them and call for their head?
Seth Davis@SethDavisHoops

He was joking, it was obvious he was joking, and it was hilarious. When did everyone lose their sense of humor?

God help us. This is disgraceful language coming from a Christian, or anyone with a soul. It was just as wrong to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk as it is to celebrate that of Robert Mueller. May they rest in peace. And may we never forget that Jesus's message is about mercy.

@FaldoFarmMTUSA Hey Nick, what’s your thinking of the final score for this year’s Masters winner? -16 with hardened fairways or -7 with the fastest greens in memory?
