@CraigHope_DM Sending my best wishes to Anthony. I t looked a real nasty one, and certainly not a highly paid professional coward’s way out, that the club have to now toe the party line with. @CraigHope_DM don’t update us on his injury, it’s insulting

@MidgeMcD25 The atmosphere ended when the 10,000 hardcore lads walked away after Rafa. The ‘Steve Bruce sit on their hands Mags’ haven’t quite filled the gap

@AndyKerrtv I’m laughing at the excuses linking the now regular atrocious SJP atmosphere to performances. Well gone are the days when SJP would be bouncing irrespective of what was happening on the pitch. We can talk all day about the cause(s) but the club need to act and quickly

I can’t remember St James’s Park feeling so flat on a big occasion. That energy from games like Arsenal in the SF last year or even the Liverpool or Barcelona games this season, just wasn’t there. #nufc

@Neilfarrington @tinysima Ridiculous by any of the Steve Bruce ‘sit on their hands’ Mags to say those who walked post Rafa did so because we were shite. Many, like me, had spent 30+ years as ST holders (and years before that) watching a lot worse….Billy Askew, Frank Pingel, Scott Sloan etc

Shouldn’t have walked away when we were shite! Get it if you have family or financial commitments/issue but refusing to watch because we’re shite? Do one

@Neilfarrington The club has never been as far away from the local population as it is now. However ‘Brian from Oxford’ is who the club wants . Brian will visit once a year and sit on his hands all game but will spend £200 in the club shop before the game

There are some who argue we shouldn't get into it, but I'll say it again: if you're not going to back #NUFC vocally, then you're not a supporter, you're a spectator. Tonight, again, there were too many spectators at SJP.

@CraigHope_DM @MailSport While it was heartbreaking and we defended so well for so long, I don’t think we can say we deserved to go through. If the boot was on the other foot and we were Chelsea, we’d have been very disappointed to have lost that game

@MariahFan Are you able to substantiate your points? You comment ‘always reduces’. Have you any examples you can share? I note in the example provided, EH praises JW’s ‘general game’. When you say ‘They’. Who are they who call him ‘Aryan Eddie’? Again, anything to also verify this? Regards

Howe always reduces Willock to athleticism 🤔 This is one of #nufc’s most multifaceted and intelligent players But all Howe sees is his “athleticism” Contrast that with his praise for Longstaff or Gordon I guess They don’t call him Aryan Eddie for nothing #nufc
Newcastle United@NUFC

Eddie Howe on Joe Willock: "I think Joe deserves a lot of credit for his performance because his athleticism, his speed and his general game was there after a long absence. He was making runs from the first minute. He is a huge player for us, I am so glad he scored, that would have done him the world of good."

@ADMusgrove Like with most things, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. There are more and more members who are the ‘touristy’ types who treat the match day experience as if they were at the cinema but there are also plenty of ST holders who for years have sat on their hands.

I'm seeing the same people blaming members for the atmosphere last night refusing to give any credit to members for the PSG game. I don't get the blame game, if there's an issue, surely it's a collective one? #NUFC

@Liam_Reay83 @mannion99 Another infuriating recent phenomenon is people posing for pic’s while the game is going on, often with their backs to the pitch. The touristy types aren’t unexpected but I still can’t get my head around their behaviour

@Liam_Reay83 @mannion99 Today was the worst I’ve ever witnessed with people heading for the exits. I suspect very few needed to leave when they did. They don’t appreciate what we currently have (most have nothing to compare it to), stay and show respect

@amouseandaman Others on here are saying it was a glitch, they eventually sorted out. I’ve ended up in the Leazes as despite many showing as available, all the L7 seats I tried to purchase were only available to ‘13-17’ year olds. I’ve never had this problem before so hopefully it’s a one off

Question for #NUFC fans. Sometimes (and today) when I get to the box office and am looking for a pair of seats for my son and I, there are loads of them in the family stand, but they're all for 13-17 year olds (and I'm 58). Is it a glitch or a policy? Any ideas. Any way around it

@smigglechops Ended up paying £20 more for Adult/Child seats in the Leazes even though I could see (but couldn’t buy) plenty of seats in the Family Area. Frustrating but at least I’m lucky to still get couple of tickets

What the hell is going on with the ticket sales for spurs game , on the site and only given me 13-17 yr olds only seats , this web site is a complete and utter joke !!!!! #nufc #NUFCFans #NewcastleUnited

@Chris_Dixon_83 I could see plenty of L7 seats for me and my son but couldn’t purchase as restricted to 13-17 year olds? Had to buy in Leazes at an increased expense. I was wondering whether this was deliberate from the club and confused why they would exclude parents and their child?

Really good game for a 0-0! Both teams showing great fight with no inch given. Arsenal shouldn’t worry about the dropped points, as Newcastle are the most organised team in the league!! #ARSNEW
