@lilpaprikash @Fastfood_Jesus That's a perfectly valid opinion! For me, it led to extreme burnout and resentment every time. I would never go back to dating someone who didn't have the capacity to protect and provide.
English

@lilpaprikash @Fastfood_Jesus Providing emotional or physical security is also sexy! But if the division of labor isn't split 50/50 (it almost never is) and he doesn't provide financially, then you're being taken advantage of. Especially if you have his children.

@Fastfood_Jesus None of that truly matters if it doesn't show, and with a platform like Tinder where all you have is your first impression: it wont matter at all
English

@WoolnWings I do 15k steps 4 days of the week, and I do 30 reps per day of 40 pound dumbbells.
Even if I was a manager at the store I work, it wouldn't be enough to provide for myself, let alone someone else.
I work, I work out, I'm honest, loyal, and quite open about almost anything.
English

@Fastfood_Jesus I can understand why you aren't getting matches. I don't know what you would expect if you don't put any effort into your body or want to provide for a woman. That's the bare minimum.
English

@WoolnWings I see a lot of love for dad bods though, so its funny for me.
A friend of mine compared dating apps to window shopping. Everyone just wants the glitz and glamour, not what's comfiest or best.
English

@Fastfood_Jesus Honestly if a man goes to the gym and looks good, I think 99% of women will swipe right no matter what.
English

@WoolnWings In ways, women got it super fucking easy when it comes to dating. "The world is your oyster" type shit... but you get a lot of dips hits and assholes.
For men, you've got a sea of bots, catfish, and advertisers.. you may find someone real, but...
English

@WoolnWings one of the dumbest changes ive seen to hpal in a hot minute
English

@Fastfood_Jesus Well that explains why so many of them think Im a catfish 🤣 Should have expected that there were bots and shills there
English

@WoolnWings That's the crazy part! I have a similar experience.
I swipe on a fair amount of people, and I might only get a response out of 1 or 2 people out of 10.
If its 2 people, then one of them is advertising for their content, or a bot.
English

@Fastfood_Jesus I'll have to disagree with you on that one, a man who can't provide is sadly not sexy at all.
English

@WoolnWings If its a first date, I really don't mind paying.
People cant afford to live on their own here though, so expecting someone to pay for two people through life is quite the stretch.
English

@Fastfood_Jesus I think it's hard to read people based on photos, so the platform is weird for me. But the number of men who I have matched with and they never text at all is kind of insane.
English

@WoolnWings Some are looking for Mr Perfect... doesn't exist.
"I cant see who likes me, so you have to message first" .... like? Nobody can see who likes who unless you pay for premium lol.
Its like women refuse to swipe right at all unless you're rich.
English

@Fastfood_Jesus Oh but the man MUST pay for everything, they're not wrong about that one. ;)
English

@WoolnWings The other side isnt too much better, unfortunately.
"Short-term fun" - its tinder.. no judgement here, but not for me.
"I'm a firm believer that the man pays for everything" - In this economy? Hah!
Some are looking to make their ex jealous (true story)
