Hey @BBCNews I’ve just watched your 10pm show..lots of gossip from @ChrisMasonBBC about @UKLabour but nothing about the £5m bribe Farage illegally concealed or Tice’s tax dodging or Jenrick’s illegal funding…why are you protecting @reformparty_uk ?

Reform’s Sunderland candidate wants to melt Nigerians down to fill potholes, their Wakefield candidate says he is an angel of God sent to bring holy fire, and three of their candidates appeared on a leaked BNP membership list. Farage says Reform has the best vetting in Britain.

There’s no pause button in the Constitution, or the War Powers Act. We’re at war. We’ve been at war for 60 days. The blockade alone is a continuing act of war. Failing to seek congressional approval, Trump is breaking the law & betraying Americans. apnews.com/article/trump-…

I respectfully disagree. In only 20 months Pres Trump will be out. His successor will almost certainly want to repair the fences Trump has kicked down. But America’s allies will always remember this episode, and will never rely on the US like they used to. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…

We now live in a two tier political ecosystem: Can you imagine the outcry if Starmer had been “gifted” £5 million by a businessman whose interests then happened to shape his policies? Elections watchdog considers looking into £5m gift to Farage bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

A viral post claiming the BBC's Director of News is a former GB News editorial director has been confirmed as accurate. John McAndrew was editorial director of GB News at its launch in 2021 and joined the BBC in 2022. The appointment was controversial at the time. Full story at the link below 👇

Why do the UK media not hold Farage to the same standards they use for other politicians? Why does Farage always get a free ride, why aren't his finances and donations scrutinised in the same way?

Starmer declares a two grand gift for half a dozen pairs of glasses: National outrage, Starmer's a liar, he's on the take, demands for a GE. Farage is secretly bunged with £5,000,000 by a crypto billionaire: Barely gets a mention. @BBCNews @GMB @itvnews @SkyNews @Ofcom @lisanandy

Nigel Farage secretly trousered £5 million in cash, and he didn’t want you to know. Since the media have barely covered it, let's make it go viral 👇

Boris Johnson. Man with nine children - (that he acknowledges) says "Falling birth rates aren’t a disaster, they’re the best bit of global news in a long time." Hmm. Over to you Baroness Charlotte Owen. Anything to add? 🙃😉 #BBCBreakfast #r4today

As highlighted by @FraserNelson there is a glaring conflict of interest when Farage's funding by crypto tycoons, his advocacy on behalf of that business, and his personal investment in crypto are all combined. This is a huge scandal involving a political leader in broad daylight.

Fiona Bruce, "So you don't need to state that, I think, to our audience, but he was given a gift of £5 million and did not declare it" "And when Labour, when Keir Starmer was given a gift of a couple of suits and some glasses, reform jumped up and down about that. Zia Yusuf, "So let me ask you a question. Let me answer your question directly because you are insinuating. Hold on, let me answer that question directly because there is clearly an insinuation here that Nigel has broken the rules" "Let's be crystal clear about it. I don't know if you've actually read the code of conduct, Fiona" Fiona Bruce, "Well, of course I have" Zia Yusuf, "Okay, fine. So if you have read it, then you will know that chapter three, section 25 makes crystal clear that members must not do not register interests under the category of those benefits that do not have any relation to their business in the House. The House being the House of Commons. That gift was. It was an unconditional gift for Nigel's private purposes before he even considered becoming an MP" Fiona Bruce, "It also says, bigger than a trade quote, simply not the case. The possible motive of the giver and the use to which the gift is to be put should be considered. If there's any doubt. Mhm. The benefit should be" Zia Yusuf, "And there is no doubt. Because again, let me be crystal clear. Chapter three, section 25. Look, I'm literally giving you the relevant sections of the code of conduct that are in play here" "Nigel has done absolutely nothing wrong"

Well of course they bloody should - when you become an MP you have to declare the previous 12 months income. Unless he just forgot about his 5 million pound gift?
BBC Breakfast@BBCBreakfast

The elections watchdog for England and Wales has said it is considering whether to look into the £5m given to Nigel Farage before the last general election. Reform UK mega donor Christopher Harborne gave the money to Farage in early 2024. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Women in the green t-shirt - if we are going to talk about Nigel Farage’s record as an adult …how about the fact he takes more money from other sources to take speeches than his Government job, how about he originally supported Trump’s war in Iran. #bbcqt
