@MissAshes92 Late to the party here, but Blue Card has the most robust curriculum for what you’re describing. 50-hour digital course followed by a 24-hour simulation lab to get certified. It’s very heavy on communication, establishing command, span of control etc.

As predicted by @NWSBoulder a brief landspout was observed in an open field as seen from the City of Aurora Public Safety Training Center between 15:09 and 15:13 this afternoon. Images captured looking northeast toward Watkins Rd., north of Quincy Ave. #cowx

@JVP_wx Gotcha. Thanks for the reply and regular supply of fantastic captures.

@WorkingFirePIO Unlikely, the funnel was on the SW side of the hook. So more right over and just south of Elizabeth. The main circulation was wrapped in rain so it's unknown to me if there was a tornado or not

🌩️Bit of a structure fest and a stray funnel in pic 2. Rather simple and fun day yesterday.

@WorkingFirePIO Hi, Eric. Can @9NEWS have permission to use these photos on air and online with credit to you?

Seeing smoke from US285 in Park County? Local, State and Federal firefighters are battling the #821Fire - An otherwise beautiful leaf peeping afternoon quickly turned dangerous forcing Deputies to evacuate a few nearby campsites. #cotraffic #cowx

Lightning likely sparked a vegetation fire in Castle Rock’s Ridgeline Open Space. A nearby resident contained the fire to a 10x15 ft area and Castle Rock Firefighters are extinguishing it now. Great to see a fast arrival from the DougCo helicopter. #cowx

Impressive updraft structure on the severe warned storm moving northeast of Deer Trail. @NWSBoulder #cowx

English

@NWSBoulder Yes, has dissipated now. Traveling closer to the updraft for a better look. No new circulation visible.
