This is pretty much my understanding of Jokić averaging a triple-double.
He makes it look so easy that people have stopped realizing how insane it is that he’s doing it. He’s also leading the league in rebounds and assists, which would be the first time a player has ever done it.
SGA and Wemby have been elite, but without a doubt in my mind, Joker is on another level. It blows my mind that people have to find ways to prop everybody else up while finding ways to downplay Jokić.

@samesfandiari I also think he's got a great stroke and can become great in the mid-range as well at the next level, but deep down I think he needs at least 3 more years at Duke.

Two reasons this doesn't concern me:
-His shooting numbers are better than someone like Kevin Love's were in college. If you believe in the person, no reason to believe he doesn't become a very good shooter in NBA.
-His passing/feel is special given his age. Hard to imagine this guy doesn't at worst become like Horford/Love and considering he's signficantly more productive than both at his age, i think his upside is being undersold

@brauf33 @basket_review I'd add that if Cayden had a more consistent jumper, he would have been able to create more for himself and others this season.

What they need is a perimeter player who can create for himself, which Caleb Foster was looking like before his injury.
Also, gotta factor in that Evans showed flashes but wasn’t consistent enough at truly creating for himself.
In 2015, you had both Tyus Jones & Quinn Cook capable of that.

Duke's inconsistent point guard play has plagued it in big moments throughout Jon Scheyer's tenure, and it killed the Blue Devils again on Sunday.
It has been my only gripe with Duke, who may have two more national titles if it had a reliable playmaker at point.
