The Starship V3 heat shield held well

We need heat shields to protect us, since we use the air to slow us down as we return to Earth. From orbital speed, it gets to 1650°C / 3000°F. From the Moon: 2750°C / 5000°F. For yesterday's Starship suborbital test flight, peak was 1450°C / 2600°F. Great to see the @SpaceX progress over the last 3 flights. Absolutely incredible. This from a drug that was *not* designed to attack tumors. Far more impactful than almost any other single treatment we’ve tried over the last few decades. Imagine what could happen when we actively start fine tuning it for cancer treatment.

Eli Lilly released retatrutide Phase 3 data yesterday. 28% weight loss in 80 weeks. The most powerful obesity drug that’s ever been tested. And today the cancer signal drops. 12,112 patients. Seven tumor types. GLP-1 users had half the lung cancer metastasis rate (10% vs 22%). Breast cancer: 43% cut. Colon cancer five-year mortality in a separate study: 15.5% vs 37.1%. Cancer joins a list that already includes heart disease (SELECT, 20% MACE reduction), kidney failure (FLOW, 24% slower decline), sleep apnea (SURMOUNT-OSA, FDA-approved), addiction (BMJ, 600K veterans, 18-25% reduction across substances), and liver disease (86% fat clearance). 🚨JUST IN: The @federalreserve has issued a request for comment and notices of proposed rulemaking for payment accounts, also known as the “skinny master accounts” that would allow eligible fintech and crypto firms to gain access to the Fed’s payments system for clearing and settlement purposes.
It marks the next formal step in Governor Waller’s payment account implementation process, following the public comment period on the proposal itself that closed in February.
Notably, the Fed is also encouraging Federal Reserve Banks to temporarily pause decisions on new “Tier 3” master account access requests until no later than December 2026 (most crypto firms are considered Tier 3) while it finalizes the framework, in an effort, it says, to create more consistency across the system.
