@DShyKnock Fair take. No reason the current analyst group can’t change conversation format/style to be more exciting. Maybe more competition/argument-style segments? They’re good at the fun-goofy stuff which took forever in our scene- maybe a quiz-game/challenge segment could spice it up?

Massive for me I am watching the pre/post game segments to see what specific analysts say otherwise I'll just mute stream to chat with friends. Personally, I've watched less in recent years because I feel like the biases have slipped away for the sake of neutrality which is fine but not my style. I get the broadcast has become player focused more but the player conversations rarely do much for me and the analyst segments feel way more neutral since the LeTigress TSM moment. I want Big Papi / AROD style biases that can cover others as well but make it must watch when their teams (or those they hate) are playing. Same reason why Laure was so much fun to watch at Worlds this past year with KT. If there isn't going to be team biases that I'm tuning in to see, I need Shaq/Barkely/Kenny levels of banter which I don't quite get from the current mix. Love everyone on the broadcast individually to be clear - just my 2 cents from the conversation Cloud started with me last night

Sounds like you would do exactly what he’s doing BUT you’d have a catchy banner on your stream… sounds more like nitpicking than a moral stance.

@WorvanSuns @antonino48185 his monetary benefit means he cant use his coverage or platform or coverage to criticize the tournament or talk about why the saudi arabian government is funding it it's a pr stunt for sportswashing, which means the benefit is dangerous but easily upended

I missed this — I've been very busy — but this is extremely bad news. nothing else matters. they threw an unbelievable bag at Caedrel (probably 7 figures) and he took it. I've been a huge fan for ages but man this sucks. just so ignorant and sad.

@arshgoyal13 The difference is that ewc is directly sponsored by the Saudi government that’s why you are taking blood money of course if lcs was sponsored by the us army it would be way worse than Saudi and china cause they are actively founding the genocide and mass murder of Palestinian .

i think people calling this the best tournament ever are insane prisoner of the moment. it wasn’t just the game 5’s that were one sided, a significant amount of games were done & dusted inside the first 10-15 minutes and just felt formulaic. but hey, if the mere notion of going to a game 5 allows casuals to placebo themselves into being entertained, then fair play. gotta keep the sheep happy if you want the farm to keep running
