Interesting choice of words, given that the Council conclusions show Cluster 3 with Serbia remains unopened. Also, nothing is frozen: Further negotiation clusters can be opened as soon as Serbia meets horizontal demands related to RoL and normalisation with Kosovo

On individual travel bans to NL, @ministerBZ is more cautious: "While taking note positively of the Baltic initiative, NL usually installs travel bans only in EU or UN context. Nationally, it usually enforces travel bans on specific occasions like threats to national security"

Replies of the @ministerBZ in the written procedure outline such avenues: NL is in favour of EU sanctions against individuals, installing EU visa requirements for holders of Georgian diplomatic passports, and a general suspension of visa free travel for Georgians to the EU

The regular Dutch European Affairs committee parliamentary debate on #EU #enlargement prior to the #GAC did not take place in the end but was replaced by a written procedure followed by resolutions in plenary, especially on #Serbia and #Georgia. Some insights (short #thread):
