Getting to Net Zero is incredibly important. Equally important is building an economy to support the #RenewableEnergy infrastructure. The Climate Party will build the green industries to take the UK into a properous future.

Climate related communications are being carefully watched by the public. There has been a rise in successful climate-based litigation, with high emissions businesses being targeted. theguardian.com/environment/ar… Over 7 years, of 140 climate-washing cases reviewed, 77 have officially concluded, 54 of which ended with a ruling in favour of the claimant. Businesses need to protect themselves from litigation, but equally they have a responsibility to invest for the future. Make that investment in emissions reduction & renewable energy. The paybacks are short, the investment is in the business & the planet.

The #ClimateCrisis is both the easiest & the hardest issue ever faced. Easy b'cos we know we must stop greenhouse gas emissions. The hardest b'cos capitalism is totally dependent on CO2 producing #FossilFuels that destroy our ecosystems exclusively to make richer rich people.

Plastic in the oceans is ruinous enough. But by making plastic our world is also adding huge volumes of carbon dioxide & other dangerous emissions. We must reduce our carbon footprint on land, in the sea & in the atmosphere. Think of the Climate, when you vote in the election.

My daughter got married earlier this year. I can’t sing for the life of me. I wrote what I wanted to say to her as a speech, entered it into ChatGPT, said, “Do rap lyrics for it,” it did, and then entered it into a music AI. So I was able to blare it over the speakers, a personal rap song from me. Again, the human element was human. All of the messaging was from me. But the lyrics came from ChatGPT and the singing came from another AI. It extended my capability. It meant a lot to me.
