At approximately 10:30 pm on August 20th 2024 a member of the Sarnia Police Service was stabbed while responding to a person in crisis call. The officer, a 13-year veteran of the SPS received multiple stab wounds and was transported to hospital by EMS. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
