It was 20yrs ago this week that I returned from my first TELIC deployment. An incredible experience, operating across Iraq at Bde, Div and Corps level, working alongside UK, US and Danish allies in incredibly difficult & challenging role - My best Op Tour. Where did 20yrs go?

IN MEMORY ❤️ | It’s 13 years today since Lee Rigby was murdered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. This is an interesting meeting one as you know is Starmer but the other is Martina Anderson a former IRA convicted terrorist isn't that cosy , the other picture was her and her husband Paul Kavanagh who was bombing England for the IRA in the 1980s in their terror campaign . So what is Starmer doing meeting with a former IRA terrorist and i wonder has that anything to do with his and Hermer trying to take our SAS soldiers and their reputations in 2026? Then you’re woken up at 0600 hrs the next morning by the guard 2IC. ‘You out of bed, you’re supposed to be on F**king guard. Oh, and you’re on a charge for not reading Part 1 orders.’ Meanwhile the PADS would scurry off home to be greeted at the door by the missus and brats, all eager not to see them, but to find out what delights they managed to bean steal with their share of compo leftovers in that big black bin liner they’re carrying.
