With heavy hearts we’re closing our Shattuck Avenue Berkeley cafe. We’ve appreciated the community support for these 2.5 years and though we’ve fought to keep going, the effects of the pandemic is forcing us to close. Our last service will be on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Some insights we’ve gained from a recent @SpecialtyCoffee & @UCDavisCOE video project about COVID-19 transmission in indoor spaces. Reinforces our plan for our cafes to serve only through our sidewalk windows until the pandemic is over.

ANNOUNCEMENT: While we understand this reopening is a response to needs from the community & businesses, we will NOT be reopening our cafes for indoor service for the foreseeable future. Our baristas' health & safety is our priority, which in turn supports YOUR health.
