Couldn't put this book down! I went to bed with 57pages left to read and have just finished it out in the sunshine! Hard part is choosing what book to read after such a good one!!!

I finally finished the Cash autobiography; as interesting as some of it was, it just didnt read well. So much info, names and dates etc, I've read other autobiographies that read more like a conversation and was easier to take in. Unsure whether I'll keep the book or pass on.

Was sent a finished copy of a hardback book but the jacket had been removed because the cover, which is on the press release and on Amazon, is ‘under embargo’? Can someone explain the logic of this please as I am baffled! 🤣🤣🤣

Polly Crosby was interviewed about THE VULPINE in The Bookseller! It’s a really insightful piece where Polly talks about society’s reaction to people with disabilities/chronic conditions and how that inspired the dystopian world in her YA novel. @WriterPolly

I’ve been a tad quiet of late, and this is why. It’s not lost on me how fortunate I am to know my daughter will be born in a country that still values women and their rights, and I will fight to keep & elevate those rights for her until my last breath 💕

Honouring the heritage of fairytales, this feminist YA novel shows how one brave girl can bring down a misogynistic patriarchy when she takes control of the (actual) narrative. @WriterPolly’s engrossing novels portrays girls and boys as allies and equals - as it should be.
