@MarcusCVance I've had a video game interrupted by a rocket attack. I've had a table top role playing game interrupted during the same tour (Iraq 05-06). I'd rather play games than run convoy security.

@NornQueenKya Eldar Exarchs should be as strong in lore as a named SM Captain.

@pureMetatron Ah yes the atheists who went around expelling Christians from universities, claiming they were in league with Satan, and burning other atheists who disagreed with them.
Oh wait...
I thought you valued truth.

We’ve always been. Since day one. But anti-Christians deny it, because they want to continue to unjustly oppress us.
Shyver! 🪼🩷@itsShyver
since people wanna talk about oppression, wanna know who else is oppressed? Christians.

You’ve obviously never looked at the evidence. It’s been studied by many a skeptic and lots of them have come away believing it’s real. Seriously, just check out the evidence. Joe Rogan recently had someone on who broke down the evidence. Nobody could make another one today. You appealed to a confession of an un-named person. People confess to things all the time. That isn’t evidence. What is evidence is that it’s not paint and it’s like a micron thick and appears to be made by a burst of light. And it’s disappearing. To fake the shroud you’d need to torture someone and get them to have a burst of light emanating from their whole body right around the time Jesus was crucified, buried , and rose from the dead.

The Shroud of Turin is clearly––for many different reasons––a medieval forgery & the first ecclesiastical authorities who dealt with it in the 14th century even said they found the guy who did it & he admitted to it.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ was wrapped in the burial shroud that we now call the “Shroud of Turin”? I do!
English

@TheOhioAlien @maklelan Far more skeptics have studied it and decided more evidence exists that it's fake than real.

@maklelan @TaylorRMarshall What about the history channel special where a team of 3 specialists tested it and found it was completely genuine?
Is that broadcast a complete fraud?

@MarcusCVance I've been a fan since I could listen. JT was my father's favorite band. My personal favorite is Dark Ages from Stormwatch.

If you're just now getting into insane flute playing, I highly recommend Jethro Tull's 2003 Live in Montreux concert

Absolutely no one needs to play the flute this hard 😂

@D_E_Harris_Best @DocStrangelove2 That's probably because they don't exist.
English

@DocStrangelove2 Dude.
They will tell you about the aliens before they ever talk about the giants in Afghanistan or the giant skeletons in Iraq.

@thedoublebruce @FlintDibble The genetics of crops and animal being domesticated as well as the complete lack of any evidence for it is a big one. Also technology leaves traces. Mines, stone quarries, timber harvesting all those leave traces. There isn't any supporting a pre-Ice age civilization.
English

@FlintDibble I accept that it is unlikely, but what is the evidence that there wasn't? I would love to remove this possibility from my brain

@MarcusCVance What about thinking they are under represented in 40K, a power katana would be pretty cool, and samurai mythology fit in with the Imperium's dogma very well?
English

Being kinda into them is fine.
Being heavily educated on their history and use in a formal fashion can be fine.
But anything in between is weird.
Hedgebrush@hedgebrush
@sh44sti As a white man it's very important you resist the urge to get too into katanas, this is the path to ruin.
