I know some people worried about Harold Fannin with the Browns getting 2 receivers in first 3 rounds, but those two receivers are also not guys who are going to get peppered with targets. Neither KC or Boston are those kind of receivers so it’s all gonna be ok for Fannin owners

zing it, remember Josh Allen his rookie year. Wasn’t very good, but bills were patient worked on his mechanics in the off-season and then a night and day difference in his play the next year I’m just saying be patient with JJ.

Just went back and watched J.J. McCarthy Highlights in college to look at his mechanics and they are very similar to Josh Allen’s in college. For both of them it was all arm and no control over their lower body when they realeased the ball especially when they really wanted to

@TPPSkol Yes they did work together, but Beck wasn’t able to spend 1 on 1 time with him to change his mechanics given the other QB’s he was working with. He for sure wasn’t going to change his throwing motion before the draft. I know 3DQB is great at fixing mechanics. This is great news.

QB Trainer John Beck is not a new coach for J.J. McCarthy. Beck has been working with McCarthy pre-combine in 2024.

The Cowboys agreement with running back Javonte Williams is three years, $24 million with a $6 million signing bonus, according to sources. Cowboys keep their lead running back. Williams returns to an offense that features him w/ a potent passing attack. Good deal for both sides.

@UnderdogNFL JJ will be the starter, they can’t bring anyone in who can start over McCarthy because they can’t afford too. They are already 26 million over the cap for next year. They will bring in a veteran but it’s not gonna be a Kirk Cousins or Mac Jones

Russini: Vikings plan to explore established options at QB via trade or free agency over next few months. HC Kevin O’Connell, GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah have no plans to move on from JJ McCarthy despite being open to adding veteran competition.

@SeifertESPN Just looked at Josh Allen’s rookie year stats and very similar compared to JJ. I know a lot of people were counting Allen out as well, when JJ gets his mechanics changed just as Allen had to do and learns how to protect himself I think he’s gonna be just fine. Trust the process.

@OverHypedSleepr Ok but my main point was the offense is around him. Find ways to get Judkins and Fannin the ball. I shouldn’t have said slot because I knew Pitts does that too but Stefanski wants the ball in Fannins hands.

@WyattHuffman36 To your earlier point, Fannin is only middle of the pack in routes run from the slot by all TEs with 35+ targets on the year. He's at 43.9%

@OverHypedSleepr Ya your right but the saints and the falcons dont have offenses that focus on getting the tight end the ball. Browns love their tight ends and it’s a very tight end friendly offense. I’m not saying he’s gonna smash but he’ll do well.

@WyattHuffman36 Can say the same about Juwan and Pitts for sure. And several of these other guys spend time in the slot too I hope he hits because he's my best option in some leagues. But where I have a strong pivot, I'm benching him

@WyattHuffman36 Thanks, man. I mean, Lamar threw 12 passes. I think that's the fewest pass attempts by a non-injured starting QB all season. Some things are completely unpredictable.
