Fun little trip to NYC over the weekend. Celebrated Roblox hitting 1 trillion views on YouTube. Visited the Epidemic Sound New York office and the YouTube office in NYC. Tried a bunch of food with friends, goofed around the city, and watched the “Stranger Things” Broadway show.

It’s clear Warner Bros is panicking with how #Superman is turning out. This wasn’t just a movie, it was their foundation, their “sure thing.” The studio poured everything into it: the full weight of DC’s creative heads, massive marketing, legacy symbolism, and trying to justify the cancellation of its prior successful universe after abusing the cast, dishing out smear campaigns and listening to twitter nerds. Yet actual audiences aren’t responding. And that silence speaks louder than any PR rollout. This was supposed to prove they were right to scrap the DCEU. Prove the Snyderverse and its fans were a vocal minority and DC is better off being a Hopecore MCU parody because Snyder didn’t put panties on Cavill. Years of criticism, studio whisper campaigns, and online smear campaigns—all for this? A film they have to pretend is a success (Opening lower than MoS; that’s without inflation), or risk the entire new DCU vision collapsing before it begins. What happens to all the DCU pages now? The marketing pages? The botted tweets where you bash Snyder and praise mediocrity? The curated hype cycles meant to shape narrative before results? If the film fails financially and culturally, the illusion crumbles. And what's left behind is not a misstep—but a revelation: that DC’s problems were never just about tone, comic accuracy, or continuity. They were about leadership, vision, petty hate, and trust.
